This explosive short had me on the edge of my seat with everything that was going on. I was amazed at how the author was able to get so much into a short story. I feared I had suffered whiplash from all of it, but would happily wear a neck brace just to read more.

The paranormal element within this story was the only aspect that was less than spectacular. I think the BDSM element coupled with the awesome plot and characters didn’t really need the paranormal element. It didn’t seem to play a big role in an otherwise explosive story. Had the author left it out I would have still been equally happy.

The characterization throughout the story was just as enchanting as the plotlines. Ink has a harsh edge to him that really excites me when reading BSDM stories. While Nathan seems to be a bit softer, and caring. I was curious to see how things would work out. Then you add in Grisha, another Dom who just screams cruel sweet torment. While Estelle was the main female character, I really think the men are what entertained me the most. Part of that may have been that I secretly wished it was me in Estelle’s shoes.

I will not only be re-reading this story, but actively looking for any other stories in the Ink Series. I would highly recommend picking up this story, that is, if you think you can handle the heat.

I found it hard to immerse myself in the romance between the men and Kitty because I continued to think about the men lying to and tricking Kitty. She’s a strong woman who is trying to let off some steam after continuously working to save the company day after day.

The sex is a hot read and it flows well between the three but the sexual conflict between the two men became a distraction for me. In a way it seemed that they just used Kitty to make their relationship all right. Even with this the three are good together and it was nice to see them develop their relationship. There was a lot of attention paid to the lovemaking and not too much on the actual storyline. I kept waiting for Kitty to find out about the lies but every time a scene would end another one would begin. Somebody always seemed to be having sex or the men were dealing with their own relationship. Even Kitty notices this and gives the men an ultimatum about their relationship.

Watching Noah and Shane figure out their relationship was a nice read. The men love each other and begin to have feelings for Kitty but they must find out where their relationship stands before they decide on the relationship that includes all three of them. It was nice to see each man develop a bond with Kitty as well and had me hoping that the three would find a solution to all their problems. Although this book may not a favorite for me, I am a fan of this author and plan to continue reading her work because I know I’ll find another book that will be a favorite. I’m happy about that because by the time this book came across my desk I had more faith in Ms. Long than I have in most any other author. I knew the power of her writing and gave the story of a three-way a chance. I was NOT disappointed.

I felt a strong connection to all three of these individuals. Their motivations and needs were clearly laid out and I was rooting for all three of them to get what they needed out of their night of passion. Their sex was certainly hot, but they were also very respectful and had a genuine like of the others. Just like the other titles in the Always a Marine stories, it’s so easy to get lost in the words on the page. Heather Long is an amazing talent. I’d love for her to connect the stories of all these individuals into a longer novel so I can spend more time with them!

I can’t recommend all of her series highly enough, but if you like the idea of a menage, this story will definitely NOT disappoint!

From the town tavern, to the mysterious castle on the hill the author created a great mental picture of the period. I also think the historical theme added a unique and intriguing aspect to the story that contemporary stories cannot offer. The authors ability to transfer me to a different place, in a different time, made the story that much more enjoyable. The story seemed to just flow and when I was forced to take a break from reading I found myself eager to get back to the story, and that’s why I would recommend The Virgin Who Cried Wolf to others.

Each man is wonderful in his own way and each needs and gives Oriana something different. Separately, they may make mistakes, but when they are working together they make a wonderful whole.

Watching each man give his heart to Oriana was a beautiful read. Sloan has built a wall around himself and his heart that slowly melts away with the help of the other men and Oriana. Max has loved her for so long he is afraid that his kink will frighten her away yet Oriana finds no fault in him and is more than willing to try. Dominik is the Master Dom of them all and tries to guard his heart but Oriana wiggles her way into it. Oriana finds herself falling for each man in return. As each man helps bring Oriana into the lifestyle and show her that what she needs and wants is more than just available to her.

As the four sort out all of their feelings they must also find a way to fix what’s wrong with the team. I loved watching not only the interaction of Oriana and each man but also the interaction between everyone. The camaraderie of the men was a nice thing to see. Oriana has a wonderful heart and it was nice to see her open up and grow with the help of her men. I’m glad that she and all the men find a happy ending. This book does include some extreme scenes and may be a bit much for some readers. I found this book a great introduction to the Dartmouth Cobras and this series. Bianca Sommerland pulls the reader into the world of hockey and brings these characters vividly to life. I cannot wait to see what comes next for this team.

Ms. Rainier aptly named her newest addition to the Divine Creek Series. The sparks fly not only in the sky but on the pages of this fun novel.

The book starts off with the series matriarch, Grace Warner and her equally sassy sister Charity, as they try to strong arm their cousin Jayne into joining the Independence Day activities. She is blissfully unaware of her cousins’ match making scheme, and decides to join in on the fun. While working, she bumps into, literally, the other victim in Cupid’s game, Seth. Sparks fly (see what I did there?) when these two collide and without any extra help.

The rest of the book touches base with all of the couples from the series. The author did a really great job of staying true to each couple or group as I saw where they are in their relationship after the foundations of each relationship that readers were originally introduced to have grown since their respective tales. I saw how married life is faring for most, the balance and compromise of having multiple partners, a big announcement for some, dealing with emotional issues for others, but two things stood true for everyone. One was the love that was expressed:  overwhelming and sweet, yet perfect. At times I worried that the love was going to ooze off the page and smother me, but Ms. Rainier has a wonderful ability of keep balance on the page. Which brings me to number two, sex. Lots and lots of wonderful, naughty, emotional, bonding, dirty sex. My personal favorite, and I am sure other fans as well, was the scene with Charity and her husband Justin. Two words: Viking marauder.

Again, the author did an excellent job of teasing us with the next pairing for the series and whetting our insatiable appetites for more of our favorites. I am eagerly anticipating Jayne and Seth’s story.

Dominic of the Northern Free Zone received a Royal Invitation to journey to the New West Dominion and meet Princess Cadence by mistake. He’s not a real Prince at all. Still, he isn’t about to pass up a chance to meet Cadence, who it’s rumored can please beyond imagination in bed.

Cadence turns out to be more than Dominic bargained for, both in and out of the bedroom. When he realizes Ethan, one of the Royal Gardeners, has worshipped her from afar for years, he invites the servant to join them in the Princess’s bedchamber.

But what happens when Dominic’s true identity is revealed, and the King and Queen find out their daughter has bedded a servant?

Cadence is the spoiled princess, Dominic is just looking for some fun and Ethan just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and is helplessly in love.

The Rebellious Princess Chooses Two Lovers was a fun, light, sexy read without an overly complicated plot and full of lots of scorching sex.

Though I enjoyed reading this short story, relating with the characters was not an easy task. Cadence knew what she wanted and how she wanted it but she was a little too passionate about everything. She vowed her love, she vowed revenge, she vowed to uncover the truth…I believe the author was trying to construct a strong and enthusiastic character but I found her ardour annoying and a little shallow.

Dominic, on the other hand, was the ruthless man looking for a good time who falls for the pretty girl. He was attractive and inquisitive when it came to the sex and his secrets were genuinely surprising.

Finally, Ethan was really sweet, but at times he felt like a filler character, placed into the story so that Cadence could have sex with both men. It was a shame, because I really would have liked to learn more about the servant.

One thing is for sure, the author knows how to portray the chemistry between the characters, and her descriptions when it came to the sex were sizzling. There was male-female, male-female-male, a little brushing up between the two hot male protagonists and even some spanking. Based in a “pseudo-medieval kingdom”, the crude language the author sometimes employed just made the story a whole lot more fun to read.

Overall, The Rebellious Princess Chooses Two Lovers is a fun, light and hot read, perfect for a quick bedtime story.
