I didn’t really look at the length previously and was surprised to find that this was a very short story. Though not as hot as other titles by the author, the story was still sexually arousing and sweet at the same time. Ms. O’Connor doesn’t waste any time and delivers a tale that is short and to the point and because of this kept me hooked from beginning to end (it took me a little less than an hour to read).

While I found Ana sweet and agreeable, her mates, Jake and Carter, were drool worthy. Intense, very good looking and understanding, the boys knew just how to treat a girl that needed help in the bed (and heart) department. A character I particularly liked (perhaps because of her direct and unabashed nature; she is, after all, the reason The Orgasm Project begins in the first place), was Maria. The poor woman now has to suffer her best friend and brothers being together while she’s all alone. I really hope she gets her own story in the future.

Finally, it is important to mention that even though the length of the story doesn’t permit too much development, the author still manages to introduce a few surprising points. It is not all obvious in this tale.

In the end, The Orgasm Project was a satisfying read that delivers passion and romance in just a few pages.

Wesson and Remington smith (Wes and Remy) have waited ten long years for Cherry to come home, and they are determined not to let her get away again. Both men are handsome and sexy cowboys, but each has their own unique personality. I enjoyed the interplay and verbal sparring both men had with Cherry, and the different arguments they had to counter each of her protests. I also liked that they provided a united front, accepting Cherry as she is, asking only that she give them all a chance at happiness together.

I understand that this was just part one of what is to be more stories, but I would like to have not felt so cheated at the end.

It is easy to see that she is a take charge kind of woman and will take the bull by the horns when necessary. This is a quality I enjoy in women, and Molly is no exception. I don’t think I’m spoiling the story to say she forgives him but I was a little surprised at how quickly she forgives. She has motives for forgiving but he was pretty mean the last time they were together.

The sexy stuff starts pretty early even for a novella. Not that I’m opposed to moving the relationships along but I could see how there was opportunity to build more tension before they gave into their lust. Having said that, Ms. Ryan does a fantastic job of bringing the reader right into the room where all the action happens. If you have any voyeuristic tendencies, this one will certainly please. My inner voyeur didn’t object at all. There is a very brief M/M kiss that was hot and I was hoping it would lead to other bromance moments but it wasn’t to be.

There is an additional plot to this story outside the ménage. I felt like this was more of a character driven story in the beginning so that part kinda sneaks in between them resolving their relationship. For me, the middle was a bit of a lull but it picks up a lot towards the end. Actually, that part was very interesting.

One thing I was curious about was how the author would keep the genre intact. What I mean is oftentimes a story is promoted as scifi or historical or steampunk or whatever but there isn’t enough detail to keep me in the time period. Other than genetic mutations and the mention of other planets this short story isn’t overwhelmed with science-fictiony jargon. I don’t read a lot of this particular genre so that was just fine by me.

Readers who enjoy a bit of out of this world excitement to go along with their romance are sure to enjoy Shared Objectives.

The story really heats up near the end with the addition of an extra guy. The author worked this in well to be a seriously hot ménage scene without it interfering with the romance between the two lead characters. I liked Louis (as did Lily!) but could understand that he was all about the fun and enjoying the female form, he wasn’t for commitment. I really liked Michael’s flirt with jealousy, it made him very real.

All in all a good read if you don’t mind the basic story line padded out with extra details. It has great characters and well-written erotic scenes and what’s not to adore about Paris?

It was a clever hook and Ms. Holly delivered an amazing journey as I discovered the wonderful secrets the main characters slowly unveiled in the course of falling in love.

Cass is the heroine and she’s a special lady. Her life has been lived in two worlds and when the book opens, she’s readjusting to life back in the Pocket, where humans, Fae and other creatures co-exist. I liked how Ms. Holly introduced the heroine doing normal things with her good friends. I liked the dialogue that happens between them and the sense of love and fun came through clearly. Some of that normalness plays a key role later in the book. Watch for it. In the meantime, a reader gets to learn just how unique and unusual the heroine turns out to be. Cass is in for the shock of her life.

The author takes Cass on a dream trip to her childhood. What gets revealed propels the plot onto a fast track of excitement and Rick, the hero, plays a key role in helping her get through it. I liked Rick a lot. He’s sexy, he’s a cop and he’s a sweet yet commanding werewolf. I liked watching him with Cass. The author took her time in developing their romance because it had to be balanced with all the twists and turns of the plot conflict. I felt the protagonists were well developed, likeable and a joy to get to know.

If a reader is looking for a tale that is intricate, involved and has solid writing to back up the plot, they’ll find that with Hidden Dragons. If a reader likes a book with camaraderie, personality and effective dialogue to back it up, then they’ll find it here. I found all of this and more. Seriously, reading Hidden Dragons is a satisfying adventure that simply has to be read more than once. Later on, while trying to condense all that I felt after reading this book and having to re-read parts to find the point I wanted to make, I found myself sucked back into the world, the adventure and the romance. It was hard to put down the first time and each chapter reminded me why. I cared about the characters. I was fascinated, and enchanted. This book is a must read.

And guess what? Rick’s brother should be next and after some hints dropped here and there about how Rick is worried about his brother’s happiness, the next book is going to be an auto-buy for me. How can it not? If it’s as good a tale as this one, I’m going to be in for a treat!

I think having them be so different yet the same allows the idea that a ménage between the three of them could easily work. They each fulfill a role and both love Jessa quickly and easily. They’re snow leopard shifters, that’s who they are, but it wasn’t a theme that’s forced down Jessa’s throat immediately and I found that a refreshing twist from most shifter stories on the market. They both want her and want to claim her but they work hard to make sure she’s comfortable with them first, and I really loved that about this story.

I highly recommend this story for fans of paranormal romance and ménage as a great example of the best that those genres can be.

As Aziza comes to terms with her newly awakened powers, she discovers not everything is as it seems, with Jinn, Shifters and Niyr surrounding her as she struggles to learn exactly what being Fireborne means. As the danger grows, and people begin dying around her, Aziza sets out to find the answers she needs, while trying to avoid her attraction to a sexy Jinn and a big shifter Enforcer. Will Aziza discover her true destiny before anyone else is killed? Can she protect those she loves from mortal danger? Can she find out what her role as Fireborne is before it is too late?

I like Ms. Alexander’s mix of real and paranormal London, with nothing being what it appears to be. The characters are all well-defined and charismatic, people you might meet on any stroll down the London streets. Ms. Alexander has extended the imagination to bring life to her creation, and I was swept into the story from the very beginning.

Aziza Jane Stewart is a strong and determined young woman. She believes she is cursed to die on her twenty-seventh birthday, and she plans to live every day to its fullest. I love Aziza, with her take no prisoners attitude, ready to experience all life offers before it is too late. When she discovers she isn’t really human, she realizes there is a whole world she knows nothing about, and has to come to terms with a new reality. When she keeps seeing the ‘giant of a man’ wherever she goes, she wants to know more, and when she finally meets Brandon, she has no idea what he really is. When Ram is able to trigger her abilities, she is terrified, but hides it behind her sarcastic wit. But her attraction to both the gorgeous Jinn and the shifter Enforcer will take her to passions she’s never known before.

Brandon is an enforcer, keeping the Jinn from crossing into the human plane without permission. He is strong and handsome, and determined to discover what Aziza is. And he wants her more than he has ever wanted any female, and doesn’t quite understand it. I like Brandon, especially when he is able to accept that Aziza is more than she appears, and is determined to protect her.

Ram and Shev are Aziza’s Jinn protectors, able to guide her, but not able to tell her much about who and what she is without fear of reprisals from their superiors. They are able to pop in and out of her life, and I enjoyed the sassy with both displayed. And I had to laugh at Ram when he explained to Aziza that, while there were other ways to trigger her abilities, he chose sex because he enjoyed being with her.

There are many secondary characters in this, and each has some role to play in the story. I especially like Aziza’s best friend, Gregory Prophet, who has always loved her, but knows she doesn’t return the sentiment, so he becomes her friend, confidant and bodyguard. As things begin to spiral out of control, Aziza learns she must find a way to keep her friend and her aunt safe, and uncover her true destiny as the last Fireborne. When an unexpected faction tries to take control of Aziza to create chaos and use her powers, she finally takes charge to keep her people safe.

This would not be an R.G. Alexander book without lots of passion and romance, and this one is filled with hot moments to thrill. Will she choose the big handsome shifter, or the sensuous and tricky Jinn to sate her desires? There is attraction there between Aziza and both of these men, and there is a wicked interlude in the barn with Brandon and an invisible Ram that is so hot it could scorch the page. There is not a happy ever after her, but there is a happy for now for Aziza, with the promise of more adventure to come.
