Trapped on a planet not their own, the Petiri spend their lives hiding the natural gifts that set them apart from the world. They live long and unfulfilled lives, unable to find their soul mates on this backward planet known as Earth. That is until the night Ramose comes face to face with Tamara, a woman whose gifts rival his own. Determined to find why this human is in possession of an ancient magical Petiri relic, he arranges a meeting.

But Tamara, embittered from past events, is wary despite lifelong dreams of Ramose and a sure knowledge he is her soul mate. Before long the couple find themselves ensnared in a battle that has raged for millennia in Egypt’s desert. Set, Egyptian God of Chaos, is determined to take his just due: the throne of Osiris.

The only way to stop him is for Ramose to put his trust in Tamara, but first must gain the same from her. The ensuing sensual relationship is filled with romance, lust and love. Their relationship is tested by an unnatural evil. Will her powers over fire, combined with his ice be enough to win the day? Or will the ancient gods and goddesses of Egypt destroy more than just their love?

With a clever plot and loads of tension, Visions of Fire and Ice hits the right notes for a worthwhile paranormal romance.

I was intrigued by the premise of ancient aliens crashing here, mixed with Egyptian mythology and gods. It was a unique story and kept me turning the pages. The heat between our main characters, Ramose and Tamara, was palpable. The strongest part of this story was the sexual tension between those two. There was a nearly unbearable pull, but various things kept interrupting their attempts to consummate their relationship, so that pull just grew stronger until I thought I’d about explode (and they did, too). It never felt contrived or put on, and well-written sexual tension is one of the things I love most about romantic fiction.

As noted, the plot was both unique and interesting, but I struggled in places when things slowed down. There were times when it almost had a “day in the life” feel. I think the prose could have been tightened a bit, and some scenes omitted, and this would have been a nail-biter.

Still, I was very much invested in the story and in the characters (I do wish I’d seen “the Js” meet and fall for each other … I didn’t see that there was a book prior to this one, but it had that kind of feel, like I’d missed their story). The author does a great job with the villain who seems to be irredeemable, but … is he? There’s plenty of mystery and action as well, enough that I can easily recommend this book to those who enjoy a good mash up of science fiction, fantasy, paranormal and romance. Just make sure you’re patient through the slow parts, because it’s worth it to read to the end.

But will she succeed in softening his casual, ‘sex only’ policy, or will she end up just another notch on his belt?

This short story from Freya’s Bower is the fantasy of every woman who had an unrequited love in high school. Natalie, coming home for the reunion after a break-up with her controlling boyfriend, finds out that Brian–who she’s harbored a crush on since high school–is now divorced and free. Unfortunately, Brian has been burned twice before and is not interested in a long-term relationship with anyone. Casual sex equals good; commitment equals bad.

Ms. Michaels does a good job in a short period of time letting the reader get to know Brian and Natalie. I liked them. It would be interesting to see this couple in a longer book where their back stories could be more fully explored and where their relationship could be tested. But, for a quick, sexy read about two people who finally find each other, Class Reunion might be a short story to pick up.

Kayla Dunsmore has had her share of heartache. Her husband turned out to be an abusive jerk, she survived cancer, and her family has been ripped from her life by a tragic accident. Now, she’s just tired of fighting to survive and is ready for a stroke of good luck. Unfortunately, it’s not to be. The last straw comes when, once again, the doctor tells her the grim news: the cancer is back. Not only is it back, but it will take a radical treatment for any hope of survival.

Zarth, an advisor to the goddess Freya, is by himself, the way he likes it. His kind, the Phooka, don’t do well in numbers. But the moment he sees Kayla, Zarth doesn’t want to be alone anymore. And that’s a problem because, according to Freya, the only way to save her is to take her to the planet Amethyst Flames.

The planet is fraught with danger for Kayla, and to compound the issue, Freya tells them that Zarth must share Kayla with his brother Tirian.

Can Kayla handle the transition to a new planet and a new lifestyle? Can Zarth and Tirian learn to share? Or will they burn up in Amethyst Flames?

Kayla and Zarth have scars of both the emotional and physical variety for very different reasons from very different realms of the universe. This said, there are viagra brand 100mg some changes that inevitably come with age. In the initial level the levitra properien victim can try an escape by bringing certain demanded changes in his behaviour. How to Stop Snoring If your problem origin is not some complicated medical issue, the first approach cialis online you truly ought to try is a product of Ajanta pharmacy with following benefits- Improved blood circulation:The medicine should not be considered as a way to get healthy blood circulation into the body. While Zarth’s physical scars were due to going to battle for his goddess, Kayla’s scars are due to the viciousness of her ex-husband and the ravages of cancer therefore making her a victim in battles she had no choice in fighting.

It puzzled me some when Kayla first meets Zarth, because her questions are not those typical of having met someone for the first time especially if that someone is not even of this realm. When Zarth relates his fear of beds or lack of experience with emotions to Kayla, she doesn’t acknowledge those quirks, as I would have expected her to. I guess if I was in my last moments on earth I wouldn’t be puzzling over little trivialities like that either, but if affected my ability to really believe the story. I also struggled a bit with confusion during some scene changes.

It was, however, heartfelt to read what Kayla had gone through not only with her ex-husband, but also with continuing struggle to survive and beat cancer. Kayla is definitely an uplifting character in her own right and shows much strength in never giving up no matter how dire the circumstances. Readers will definitely take away a message in Kayla’s courage.

Zarth and Tirian’s family dynamics are interesting, to say the least, and unlike most ménages, the twins don’t start out sharing Kayla so easily which made this a unique story.

Ms. Noreen’s new world is very creative and should capture and keep the readers attention. I recommend this book for fans of fantasy stories, new realms and new creatures with happy pleasurable endings.

I’m Crystal Payne, yeah I know it’s not an original name, but yeah, it’s better than nothing. What do I do? Well I hunt those things that go bump in the night for profit. Notice I didn’t say fun? So when a vampire comes to visit trying to hire me, I’m a little less than enthusiastic, no matter how handsome and debonair he is. Instead, I take a job for the Snowden family. Their daughter Heather has gone missing in a notorious club frequented (and owned) by vampires… The Uptown Club. It’s a nasty place, and I know Heather’s been missing for three days. That can only mean one thing. She’s no longer human but a bloodsucking menace that needs to be put down. Maybe if I’m lucky I can clean the entire place out. If I’m very, very lucky, that is.

Meet Crystal Payne: vampire huntress extraordinaire. While not the world’s most glamorous job, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right? And there isn’t enough room in one city for both Crystal and the denizens of the night. Someone has to go. Even if it all had to start with her vampire-turned-boyfriend years before.

Crystal is my kind of woman. She’s very no-nonsense with a kick-vampire sense of humor. Precautions levitra online pharmacy may lead to severe hypotensive effects in patients taking an alternate solution to treat ineptitude or utilizing a nitrate drug for midsection ache or heart issues. This pharmaceutical ought not to be taken by the patient as mentioned in the label and/or as prescribed by the doctor. So, you will not get that kind of cialis sale , you have to place an order for it. Erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation can also be treated viagra shops in india as treating various psychological conditions. Finally patients suffering from low blood pressure, heard diseases, stroke, hypertension, or uncontrolled diabetes should viagra sale all refrain from any kind of erectile dysfunction medication. And despite the fact that her job sucks – literally – she pushes onward and ensures that it gets done. You won’t find a bloodsucker getting away, not on her watch. I like the fact that she doesn’t enjoy her job. Too many vampire slayers these days get entirely too much joy out of destroying their enemy. But not Crystal. No, she knows it’s a job, and not a fun one either. But, it’s one that needs to be done.

Renaldo is a vampire with a problem. It seems that the other vampires are trying to organize themselves and become more cohesive. And he wants it to stop. So, naturally, he hunts down the best solution he can think of – a vampire hunter by the name of Crystal Payne. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with – vampire and hunter working together. Then, once all the bad guys are dead and they have a little bit of recuperation time, do the sparks ever fly!

Love Bites Back was both a fun and adventurous story of second chances and the power of good over evil. The tenuous at first relationship between Crystal and Renaldo reminds me of every woman who has ever been hurt by someone, and the way Crystal sucks it up and goes with the flow is admirable. Makes her just that much more special in the end. If you enjoy wise-cracking, bad-to-the-bone vampire hunters and the baddies they stalk, then you will certainly enjoy this short, fast-paced story!

After thirteen years of marriage, communication can be a key to a happy marriage, but if you don’t discuss the most intimate of desires what is left?

Sean and Maudi find the answer to the very question. When Sean comes home early, a stranger is in his bed–the most erotic, alluring woman of his dreams….his wife. The secrets he learns in the accidental encounter is well, an afternoon filled with delights.

When Sean came home to surprise his wife, little did he know he would be the one surprised. When he walked in on his wife masturbating he wasn’t sure whether to watch or join in.

So many couples go through this dilemma, there is no way you can see this story as unrealistic.

The main problem I had was that it was just too short — only eight pages. With so few pages, you really can’t get a lot of insight into the characters. You know absolutely nothing about the couple other than they are married with two kids, and you don’t get a good feel for who they are. But, since the plot did not falter I was able to get past the lack of character description to enjoy the story.

If you are looking for a quick lesson on communicating your sexual needs, graphically illustrated by some hot daytime loving, this story may have a few tips for you.

When Dana’s boyfriend drags her to Wilderness Outfitters on a Friday night, she wonders why so many people find The Great Outdoors so great. Until she meets Hank–six feet of tanned muscle, wrapped in a faded black T-shirt and jean shorts loose on his hips. Eyes like wildfire burning in a sun-kissed face. Grinning like a fox. After her boyfriend dumps her in the parking lot, humiliation becomes gratitude when Hank invites her to his favorite camping spot, and she seizes on the impulse to change her boring life.

A web programmer, Dana’s outdoor experience had consisted of walks to and from her car. Alone on a mountaintop, as she struggles to set up camp, a five-foot snake doesn’t seem a welcome sight: until Hank comes to her rescue.

He initiates her to the pleasures of hiking, campfires, and Harley rides down winding roads. Making love beneath a starry sky, Hank awakens a primal Wilderness Girl in Dana she never knew existed.

Their weekend feels like a fantasy, which proves all too true on their return to civilization. As the daily grind eats into their time together, their romance begins to come untethered.

Will her high-tech lifestyle clash with his low-tech one? Can she manage to recapture the passion of the wilderness in their city existence?

However, with the company of Hank, I’d definitely be willing to try (even if his name reminds me of Hank the Lumberjack and it sounds a little too cliché).

Wilderness girl is a sweet, pleasant, nature loving tale. Almost from page one I could not wipe the smile from my face. Page five is accurately described by the main protagonist, Dana, as “Oh my God”. The second encounter between the characters was also fantastic. I particularly loved the way Ms. Masters depicted the flirting and the teasing between the characters. The descriptions both character wise and sexually are also initially quite well done. Initially only because towards the end of the tale they seem to get a bit sloppy and only graze over the object of description. This occurs mainly with the sexual descriptions, Masters easily conveys the meaning of urgency the characters transmit, but not the feeling of going slow, that should be patent towards the end.

A little something that surprisingly enough I found unique is the condom use. Sometimes, romance tends to forget that needed aspect of real life, but Wilderness Girl doesn’t and it only gives the story a closer appeal; as if encountering someone like that could happen to anyone.

Wilderness girl is a nice read to feel free of the daily city oppressions.

From inside the stunning opal necklace, a haunting voice whispered, “Make love to him, Faith. Do it now!”

Faith Abbot is a good Puritan woman, but the magic inside an opal necklace begins to torment her with lustful thoughts.

For years her heart and body have craved handsome James Parris, a man twelve years her junior, a man she thinks should be courting women his own age. But now the magic of a ghost trapped in a jewel breaks down all her inhibitions.

When she and James surrender to the fierce erotic tension that pulses between them, her heart fills with joy.

But who is the angry female ghost dwelling within the necklace, wanting revenge?

And when Faith is accused of performing witchcraft in Salem Village, can James’s love save her from the hangman’s noose?

The Salem Witch trials are on the periphery of this historic piece, though the action ends before they start. The title and the time period led me to believe there would be an actual, misunderstood witch involved. There was not. Or perhaps a time jump would occur to a future date when the witch needed waking. Wrong on that count, too.

Ms. Whitefern does a credible job with her heroine. Faith is believable and sympathetic as a widow living on the fringe of a Puritan village. She’s largely self-sufficient and certainly not pining after her no-good, abusive, not-so-dearly-departed husband, all good things. James is a nice enough young man, though his personality never really came into focus for me and his failure to reassure Faith that he will marry her someday is baffling. Clean the genital discount sildenafil area by using this douche. This recreational use of the drug by younger men still needs to be debated and studied by authorities.Though it’s a definite that the drug has been commendable in making older men perform well in bed again, this is just one type of sex pills levitra buy generic for men at drug stores and especially on the internet. He can’t have an online viagra order orgasm, and he may have sever ED. For me personally, the ED current market scenario is really apparent! on line cialis , cialis & on line cialis, they all have some thing particular to offer. The motives of Rachel, the story’s ghost, are even more baffling and perhaps a bit simplistic in the end.

I’m a stickler for history. Even a short historical story needs to strive for accuracy in all of its aspects. Alternative history can be toyed with and can be great fun but this was obviously not meant as an alternate reality Salem. The dialogue waffles between ‘thee’ and ‘thou’ formality of the period and obvious twentieth century phrases such as ‘I want you so bad’ which were jarring in their inappropriate placement. Ms. Whitefern did some research on the Salem troubles, the names were all in place, Sarah Good, Tituba, and so on, but the lascivious license and lawless behavior of the townspeople did not feel like a real Puritan community. Things got ugly in Salem, certainly, innocent people were tortured and hanged, but all by the letter of the law and under the strict guidance of learned theologians rather than mob rule. (Not that it makes it better, but that’s how it was.) The historical innaccuracies on the author’s part are what brought down the rating.

The scenes of lovemaking are sweet, though, and this story’s saving grace. His young, tender fire awakes the long-banked embers in her previously unfulfilled libido and her giving nature are a source of endless surprise and joy for him. Waking the Witch is an uncomplicated bedtime story read with sex scenes heated enough to have you squirming before lights out.

This was a very cute re-telling of how Martina spent her Valentine’s Day. I loved how the story showed Martina and Ronni meeting for margaritas and food. It just seemed to me a perfect recreation of what women typically do when they meet up.

An ancient rite performed in modern times. A lone woman unaware of her destiny. A preternatural creature hunts for one soul to claim for his own. What havoc will be wrought when the three intertwine? Can two beings from vastly different worlds find peace together, or are they doomed to walk between worlds forever?

Last Chance Upon A Murder was a fantastic read. The story was raised to a level above what I am used to reading. My mother would say it had a lot of twenty-five cent words but in a way, the vocabulary used, elevated this work to a higher level. It reminded me of an Alfred Hitchcock story. A cross of The Birds and An Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode.

It is the story of Giana Valerio, a young woman who dresses like a Goth and is a very knowledgeable and kind hearted person. She went next door to Casey Lowe’s home to check on him and inform him of the murder of crow migration to their neighborhood. When Ashtalon transformed from a crow to a being in her home, Giana took it better than I would have thought. Ashtalon is a sluagh. When he informed Giana of this fact, she showed her extensive knowledge by not only knowing what a sluagh is but who and why he was there.

I enjoyed the interactions of Giana and Ashtalon. It was cute how Ashtalon showered for over an hour and the stench was still on him. Giana, a very caring person, took it upon herself to diligently wash and condition Ashtalon’s hair, which had not been done in hundreds of years, in order to completely remove the stench. I also enjoyed their shopping trip for clothes for Ashtalon and the significance clothing he wears at the end of the story . Even though they know each other but for a brief moment in the fabric of time, I could see the feelings that they have for one another and enjoyed reading as they developed into more than friends.

I can only say that as I read this story, I felt that I was lifted to another level. One in which I could not take my eyes from the computer screen and in which I felt I could lose myself in this compelling tale of life, death and the supernatural. Last Chance Upon A Murder is truly an exceptionally well crafted story that I recommend highly.
