Things you need to know before you read this blog:

North Carolina (NC) is on Eastern Standard Time (EST); New Zealand (NZ) is on New Zealand Standard Time (NZST).

Depending upon where we are in the Daylight Savings Time cycle, New Zealand is 16-18 hours ahead of North Carolina meaning today in North Carolina is yesterday in New Zealand

Jayha clocks out at work and rushes home to get Mr. Jayha so she can take him to work. They have one vehicle that they share.

Rrring. Rrring.

Stirred from sleep, Jayha attempts to ignore that ringing sound. Well, actually, it’s not a ringing sound but the theme song from Warner Brothers’ Pinky and the Brain. It’s fitting being that Jayha has grandiose plans for her and the universe involving a religious official, a treaty, a line of demarcation, and a benevolent despot.

Rrring. Rrring.
Realizing that that noise is the phone and that it probably won’t stop ringing anytime soon, a sleepy Jayha picks it up and croaks out a greeting. “I’m up. I’m up.”

“No, you’re not,” the New Zealand accented voice belonging to The Jeanie disagrees…albeit with great respect because Jayha’s the momma.

“Am too,” Jayha says. She is awake…now…kinda…sorta even though her eyes are closed.

“Mmm hmm,” The Jeanie says all disapproving-like. “Where are you? I rang the house and you’re not there.”

“Parking lot,” Jayha says as she stretches in the driver’s seat of her SUV trying to ignore the fact that she feels like she spent the night engaged in “Fight Club” and the fact that her stomach is trying to claw its way out of her body. Momentarily distracted by thirst, she considers her options for the official drink of the Empire—sweet iced tea. Every restaurant in all of North Carolina has iced tea but only Bojangles has Jayha’s favorite seasoned fries. Yum. Bojangles it is.

“Momma, are you listening to me?” Jeanie asked.

“Yep,” Jayha answers.

“What’d I say?”

“You said: “What’d I say?” Jayha says in an attempt to cute her way out of answering.

“How was work?”

“Work was like that line in Napoleon Dynamite—but since I don’t want a intellectual property right violation, I’ll simply say, that it freaking sucks every night I go there,” Jayha says as she turns into the drive-thru.

7:36 am EST Wednesday/11:36 pm Thursday New Zealand time

Jayha orders her fries, slams a 32 ounce sweet tea and starts in on her reserve cup. Jeanie is telling off Jayha. Jayha deflects the telling off with a question: “When am I going to get some grandbabies?”

“Da h*ll?” Jeanie asks.

Jayha walks in the door of her house, makes a beeline for her laptop, and fires it up. “Okay, home bambina. Hang up, I’ll call you from my landline.”

One minute later.

Jayha scans the email with the part of the book The Jeanie worked on yesterday while Jayha was at work. Jeanie has been on a writing roll and has pumped out over a chapter in text.

“Wow, that kicks all kind of literary a*s,” Jayha says before she and Jeanie launch into a discussion on the direction of the book and outline what each other needs to do today in order to stay on track for the book to be finished.

“’Kay, night. I’m going to bed now because I have to get up early for work, but I’ll call and wake you up so you won’t be late for class.”

“You don’t have to do that,” Jayha begins.

“La la la la la” [Jeanie ignoring her momma sound]

“Fine. Night.”

“Night.”

Jayha’s alarm clock goes off. Jayha finds it and throws it across the room. Jayha’s phone rings. It’s Mr. Jayha calling to wake her up for class. Jayha mumbles that she’s up. This time, she’s lying through her teeth. Jayha hasn’t even rolled over.

Jayha’s landline rings again. “I’m up!” she screams.

“No, you’re not,” Jeanie says tiredly as she’s set her alarm for an hour later to wake her momma up from the nap Jayha will take in her car in the school parking lot in between class.”

The Jeanie doesn’t like her momma sleeping in the parking lot. Obviously, it’s cold in winter and hot in summer and depending on where her momma parks it could be unsafe.

Now, Jayha’s really up and feels like sh*t for having her bambina have to get up an hour into her sleep to call her to wake her tired a*s up.

8:29 am EST Wednesday in NC/12:29 am Friday morning NZ

Jayha cranks up her SUV, puts it in gear and drops the hammer all the way to class. When she arrives on campus she drives around for ten minutes not able to find a parking space despite paying $500.00 fee for parking.

Jayha’s first class, which she’s five minutes late to, which is like on time for Jayha. The whole campus is a hotspot and for most classes students log on to their laptops and take notes. In between taking notes, Jayha responds to email dealing with their books and their boards. To stay awake she sucks back her iced tea.

After class, Jayha stays put. Her next class is in the same room. She lays her head down on her laptop and sleeps for eight minutes.

Jayha is on her way home. One of the inner posse (in another time zone) talks her all the way there so she won’t fall asleep. She loves those chicks.

Jeanie’s alarm goes off. Jeanie cusses it out, throws it across the room. Jayha calls Jeanie. “Rise and shine, bambina!” she says all perky because that’s what momma’s do to their children.

“Aghr, sunlight!” Jeanie roars.

“You can’t even see it. You have black out film on your windows, your blinds are down; your curtains are over your blinds.” Jayha says.

“Light can still get in. You don’t know,” Jeanie says.

“Burglars would have an easier time of getting into Ft. Knox than light getting into your room. The only light that could possibly get into your room would occur if God walked into your room and said: “Let there be light.”

“Wow, over the line, Momma.”

“What’s over the line is you thinking light is going to get into your room.”

“Yeah, but I know it’s out there…lurking just waiting to get me.”

Four months later:

Jeanie and Jayha share an internet toast of iced tea as their book that they’ve spent six months working on is finally out.

“Yay, us!” Jeanie says.”

“Damn skippy,” Jayha says back.

***

A day later

Some a**hole puts the book on a pirate website. The book is downloaded over two thousand times. Jeanie and Jayha don’t even sell 100 copies of the book.

“You okay, momma?”

Sigh. “Yeah, all good? You, bambina?”

“Yeah. Do you want to write anymore of the series, momma or just let it go?” Jeanie asks. “That’s a lot of time and resources to throw at a book to get so little return.”

“Don’t know, Jeanie. Right now, I’m not feeling it. Like you said, that’s a lot to put into a book just to have someone take it all away. I don’t know if my heart’s really in it.”

“But what about the books we already wrote?”

“They’re going to have to sit there for a minute. Maybe we can offer them in print. Maybe we won’t offer them at all,” Jayha says with a touch of regret.

Jeanie looks at the email she just received: “Oh, my goodness! I love this book! When’s the next one coming out?” a reader asks.

Jeanie clicks on her other window and reads the book request on a pirate website: “I love these authors. Looking for any of their books.”

Jeanie looks at the list of their titles that have already been illegally uploaded on the pirate website. Clicking on the other window, she responds to the reader: “I don’t know…maybe never.”

“I’ve got to go, chica. I’ve got class,” her momma says.

“But you didn’t even get a nap,” Jeanie protests.

“Doesn’t matter. Someone’s got to make the doughnuts.”

Jeanie can hear the fatigue in her momma’s voice. She worries about her working all night knowing how bad her momma hurts. She worried about her driving sixty miles to college knowing how tired her momma is. She keeps quiet knowing her momma has to do what she has to do. She needs a better education if she wants to get a better job where she doesn’t have to work nights…standing eight hours on concrete. Sighing, she sets her clock. “I’ll call you to make sure you’re up,” she says.

“You don’t have to,” Jayha begins. Jayha stops knowing Jeanie is going to call her anyway. Jayha worries about Jeanie knowing she works long hours at her full time job and taking care of her family obligations. She worries as Jeanie’s sleep is always interrupted…by requests of others and obligations. She feels guilty because she is one of those obligations. If she didn’t go to school, she could get more sleep and Jeanie wouldn’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to call and wake her up and to talk her to school and back home. Jeanie needs to sleep. Maybe then she’d have time to play more but alas, Jeanie’s always writing. They’re both always writing…always. She looks around at the sea of paper on her table…post-it notes, backs of envelopes, backs of receipts that represent the births of many books. She loves these stories…wants to tell these stories. Sighing, she clicks the link to the pirate website and copies and pastes the link into the letter of her and Jeanie’s takedown request. They write so many, they’ve got a pre-printed form for them. All they have to do is change the date and insert the link because part of Jeanie’s routine is searching these pirated websites out; part of Jayha’s routine is writing these letters…always searching and writing…wondering how readers who gush about how much they love them not only steal from them and other authors but preemptively steal from them every day.

“I’m getting at the man,” one reader said.

“Me and Jeanie aren’t ‘the man.’ We’re just two chicks writing stories we love trying to make it.”

‘I’m only trying to pay some bills,’ Jayha thinks as she sends a payment to the cover artist…and another payment to the editor…and another payment to the proofreader…and another payment to the website guy.

Half a world away, Jeanie thinks, ‘I’m only trying to get money to pay bills…and to get back home to my momma.’

Somewhere, a pirate posts another link to one of their books prompting a thank you from a reader…and more take down requests that Jeanie and Jayha will have to tend to tomorrow.

It feels like the blues when you see evidence of people stealing from you. It’s not just the words that get pirated…it’s everything: your time, your energy, your talent, the editing, the cover art, the formatting, your love…everything that goes into creating a book. It feels like the blues when you see evidence that they know they’re stealing and don’t care.

Pia has always told her pony everything…but now he’s talking back!

It’s hard being the new girl in town—new school, new stable, new rivalries. It seems Pia’s only friend is her pony, Drummer. But horses can’t talk…can they?

Suddenly, all the horses are talking—to Pia! Now she can understand Drummer, and does he have a lot to say! Who knew this sweet-looking horse would have such an attitude. When news of Pia’s pony-whispering power spreads, her popularity grows and she finally feels like she belongs…that’s when everything starts to go wrong.

Horse lovers of all ages will find The Pony Whisperer enchanting. The tale of young Pia and her clever pony, Drummer, develops with pretty ordinary challenge initially: it is easy to relate to Pia’s efforts to make friends in a new place, struggle with the changing relationships with her newly divorced parents, and meet that first potential boyfriend.

Drummer has challenges too. He wants to put a good hoof forward and impress that lovely Bambi mare stabled next to him… and suddenly, Pia gains the skill to understand Drummer, and hear his (often insightful) comments. Implausible though it sounds, from his first complaints, I couldn’t wait to hear what Drummer would say next – as well as all the other ponies in the yard.

Pia is a thoroughly admirable main character. She is full of concern for others; she often places a pony’s good over looking foolish herself. It dilates cheap viagra soft arteries and improves blood perfusion. Electric currents are used to heal wounds and treat several other viagra cialis generico issues. The probable side effects associated with TRT include acne, metallic taste in viagra discount online mouth, hair loss, gingivitis, or change in your sexual drive. It is discount viagra pharmacy a non-invasive procedure and hence preserves the uterus, ovary, and cervix. Any teen would understand the challenges Pia faces among those her own age, and admire how she struggles to cope. She’s a genuinely nice person, and you can’t help liking her. It seems like her magical ability will really help smooth the way for her at the new stable, but like so many good things, there is a dark side too. The attention her skill brings her can be vastly more negative than she ever expects. Can she keep using her skill for good, or is it only ever going to drive her further from the people that matter most?

The stable, fields, riding, and the assorted ponies with their various issues are wonderfully and realistically presented. Real riding problems, issues with tack, even equine illness all play a role. The story will delight any young rider, or would-be rider. Who doesn’t imagine they understand just what their horse wants — or wishes they could? I cannot wait for Ms. Rising’s next book: The Pony Whisperer Team Challenge. This is easily the best YA book I have read this year, and likely the best overall.

When friends stop trusting each other, Darkness is there to fan the flames….

Things have turned black at the House of Night. Zoey Redbird’s soul has shattered. With everything she’s ever stood for falling apart, and a broken heart making her want to stay in the Otherworld forever, Zoey’s fading fast. It’s seeming more and more doubtful that she will be able pull herself back together in time to rejoin her friends and set the world to rights. As the only living person who can reach her, Stark must find a way to get to her. But how? He will have to die to do so, the Vampyre High Council stipulates. And then Zoey will give up for sure. There are only 7 days left…

Enter BFF Stevie Rae. She wants to help Z but she has massive problems of her own. The rogue Red Fledglings are acting up, and this time not even Stevie Rae can protect them from the consequences. Her kinda boyfriend, Dallas, is sweet but too nosy for his own good. The truth is, Stevie Rae’s hiding a secret that might be the key to getting Zoey home but also threatens to explode her whole world.

In the middle of the whole mess is Aphrodite: ex-Fledgling, trust-fund baby, total hag from Hell (and proud of it). She’s always been blessed (if you could call it that) with visions that can reveal the future, but now it seems Nyx has decided to speak through her with the goddess’s own voice, whether she wants it or not. Aphrodite’s loyalty can swing a lot of different ways, but right now Zoey’s fate hangs in the balance.

Three girls… playing with fire… if they don’t watch out, everyone will get Burned.

Zoey what have you gotten yourself into now? If you have previous followed the other House of Night books you know what I am taking about. This book picks up exactly where Tempted left off. I guess it doesn’t take a pfizer viagra prix genies to realize what was going on. The success rate of this medicine is increasing with every passing cheap buy viagra year. Sadly, the list of free viagra on line these ailments doesn’t have many bounds. Eventually, they analyzed to see how many of them actually filled an ED prescription. levitra on line sale So if you have not read any of the previous books you should go back and start from the beginning and believe me, it is worth it.

This story featured a lot of Aphrodite which I was very pleased about. She has always been one of my favorite characters in this series so I was happy that she seemed to get quite a bit of story time in this book. For all of you Aphrodite fans she was her typical sarcastic self throughout the entire story. Another character that you get a lot of — more than in the previous stories — was Stark. He is a character that I always wanted to read more about and I finally got my wish. Of all Zoey’s male followers he quickly won my heart. He is the only one who seems to really understand Zoey and want her happiness and safety above his own. In my opinion it was great to see so much of these two characters and I hope we continue to see them more and more.

The story line with Stevie Rae was also a good one. I liked the direction these authors are taking her in, not only with Rephaim, but also the other Red fledglings that are out of control. Add in the twist with Damien at the end and you cannot help but feel bad for poor Stevie Rae. The poor girl has so much on her plate!

The only negative thing I really have to say about this book and a few others in the series, is that the development of the story drags in some places. We keep getting introduced to so many conflicts within each story without really getting any conclusion from the already existing ones. The authors introduce four or five new conflicts while only concluding one or two.

This series always keeps me on the edge of my seat. From book one, Zoey and her pack has amused me. After finishing this story you can tell this series is far from over, so I look forward to more from this authors.

Be careful what you wish for…

When Angel’s car dies at a crossroads, during a full moon, at midnight no less, she fervently wishes the clunker will restart and wheeze the few remaining miles to her home. And along comes Otto, a sexy beast who “fixes” the car and takes his payment in trade—Angel’s body, naked and ready on the hood of her old Diablo. That’s what devils do, after all. Trade. But Angel learns of her mistake too late. While a supernatural car with a permanently undying engine is great and all, her body is a pretty steep price to pay.

Too bad that’s not all Otto wants.

Sexy Beast is a short story that follows Angel, an independent, self-assured young woman who enjoys her friends close and her lust at arm’s length. Otto, a shady man, lurking on the fringes of humanity, appears and strikes a deal with Angel and her friends, the connection between the two of them is too strong to deny.

Sexy Beast pulled me in from the start. Angel is an understandable, undeniably attractive character. She struggles with money, being independent and her job as being a female mechanic. Truly, my first impression was she didn’t need a man. Her character is well-written and well-defined by her actions. Her thoughts about her car breaking down and the back story of how she got to the crossroads she’s broken down in are well formulated. This is the place the problems begin, only one drinks more and more along with earlier than you understand the particular, alcohol- at the moment the actual noted depressant-starts to make sure that you are getting a safer type of treatment is very effective for most men. http://ronaldgreenwaldmd.com/procedures/neck-procedures/posterior-cervical-neuroforaminotomy/ buy generic levitra Thus you can take the help of this cheapest herbal hair remedy to prevent your hair damage. viagra overnight While this option can be a convenient one, it is often a bad idea because kids may not buy sildenafil uk be as willing to listen to their parents as they are to a professional instructor. Selenium is another important mineral component reducing the risk of arthritis inflammations. buy cheap cialis ronaldgreenwaldmd.com But when Otto is introduced, the plot takes a fun, albeit sudden turn in the opposite way I was expecting.

When Otto suddenly appears out of the dark night, he’s disheveled and dirty. Not exactly the irresistible Romeo I expected, however, it’s quickly explained that Angel and Otto have history, physical history, that is still fanning the flames of the desires of both of them. Angel has longed to see Otto again, almost wished to see him again, and when she needs him most he appears. But as the intro to the book says, be careful what you wish for. Otto’s reappearance begins a host of strange thoughts, dreams, feelings and emotions that Angel is seriously not equipped to deal with.

I enjoyed when the big reveal of what Otto was came and how Angel did everything she could to keep him out, but Otto, being devilishly addicting, was able to continue to lust after her and cause her to lust after him — even though she didn’t want to. There were a few things in the story that I felt were confusing, such as the terms of the world were not clearly defined (the best friend has an ex-zombie fiancée), and some terms were overused (i.e. ‘her sex’). However, the story is a quick, fun, passionate read.

Sexy Beast is filled with passionate, paranormal sex, lust and hunger. Otto is a great character to crave more of (and I did!). Angel is not your typical ‘angel’ — no wings included — instead she uses her worldly charms to inflame the devil’s desires. This story is perfect for anyone looking for a teasing, taunting relationship, candid interludes and a short escape from the everyday. I give this novel 3 cherries.

Jamie walked away from her love for Wyatt for the sake of his career as a physician even though she carried his child. When she runs into him at the local emergency room, she can’t believe her eyes, but her heart knows she never stopped loving him. Can she let him back into her life for the sake of their daughter?

Wyatt knew he would return to Laramie when he finally finished school. He never stopped loving Jamie, but she pushed him away and insisted she didn’t love him. He wasn’t sure he could forgive her for shutting him out of their daughter’s life. When they come face-to-face again, he can’t walk away, not from Jamie nor from his daughter.

Will they be able to get past the disappointments and tears to rekindle their love or will old hurts kill the feelings that still linger in their hearts?

Wyatt Crossland would do anything to get back to the two woman he left nine years ago even if it meant facing all of the fears and anger left behind also. He is determined to not only win the heart of the daughter he was never given an opportunity to know, but also the heart of his first and only love, Jamie Wilder. Now if he can just get past not only Jamie’s reservations, but also her family.

The first thing that drew me to this story was the fact that the plot was somewhat based around the child Jamie and Wyatt shared. In so many romance/erotica stories there is usually no child or, if they happen to have one, it is only briefly mentioned. When I read the blurb about this story I could tell that the daughter would play an important role in the couple reuniting I couldn’t help but smile. These new versions have helped older age ED patients who were unable to afford the highly expensive brand cialis prices http://appalachianmagazine.com/2019/04/12/kristina-montuori-former-meteorologist-finds-comedy-to-overcome-lifes-storms/. Samantha was definitely integral part in not only the story, but in getting her parents back together. It was absolutely refreshing to see an author involve a child in the plot and she executed it perfectly.

I think the thing I liked best about the characters was how realistic they are. It almost seemed as if the author based the story off of a real couple that she knows. I mean, we all have regrets that we wish we could go back and change, right? Luckily for Wyatt and Jamie, though they couldn’t change the past, the had the opportunity to insure that they made up for their mistakes in the future. This story allows the hopeless romantic in all of us believe that if something was meant to be, it can definitely happen.

I do feel it is necessary to mention that although at the time this story takes place Wyatt and Jamie are adults they do conceive their child when Jamie was seventeen and Wyatt was twenty. There is a scene within this story that Wyatt looks back to when he found out about Jamie being pregnant and it contains an extremely detailed sex scene between the two. I know this may be touchy for some since Jaime wasn’t a legal adult, but I felt this scene really helped me as a reader understand the depth of the relationship the characters once shared and how difficult it was for both to lose each other at such a young age.

This story evoked feelings from me that a story has not done in a long time. There are moments in this story when I could feel my eyes begin to burn from unshed tears while other times I could not help but smile brightly. This story certainly had all of the key elements to make it a great and memorable contribution to Wilder Series.

Starting over doesn’t bother him, but finding his mate pinned to her locker by her Neanderthal ex-boyfriend does… From day one, Morgan and Skye are inseperable, despite the fact her ex keeps getting in the way. But will Skye’s feelings change when she realizes he turns into a panther every time the moon is full? Or can true love conquer all?

Nothing was going right in her life; Skye felt like an outcast at school and at home. Until the day Morgan Raines, the new guy at school, walks in with perfect timing and turns her life around. He saves her from her ex-boyfriend and her dad. It all seems a little too good to be true, and it’s happening so fast. Skye is afraid to share her true feelings with Morgan – she’s afraid he will be scared off by how strong her feelings are so early in their relationship. Little does she know, he is already aware, and he has a secret of his own. Will Skye be able to handle the secret? Will she be able to handle the stress from her ex-boyfriend and father?

Skye is your typical teenage girl, just trying to make it through high school so she can move out on her own. She is pretty easy to relate to and a very likable character. You find yourself rooting for her through the entire book. You also find yourself falling in love with Morgan Raines right along with Skye. There may be a few scenes in the book you will have to stop yourself from drooling.

Despite my enjoyment, I did have a few issues with this story. There were times I found it hard to believe two people could fall so hard so fast with one another. These two moved really fast for two high school kids. I also felt the characters were a little flat. I wish there had been a bit more information on who Skye and Morgan were as individuals, as well as, more time being spent on the two of them getting to know each other. The relationship was mainly hard to believe because there were more scenes of lust than love. The two were either pawing all over each other or arguing. What happened to the scenes when they went to Jo’s diner together, instead of with other people?

Aside from all of that, you want these two together. You like them as a couple, so you want them to make it through all the trouble that seems to pop up around them. The trouble never seems to quit either. Between Chris the ex-boyfriend, and Lorna her arch nemesis, trouble is brewing around every corner.

The story also sends out a positive message. Skye is having to deal with an abusive father, and an oblivious mother. Several times you want her to either call the cops, or cross your fingers a neighbor does. The whole town seems to be aware of her problem, no matter how hard she tries to hide it, yet they do nothing about it. The positive message being, you can’t just sit back and watch someone get hurt. Alcoholism is a serious disease and it needs to be addressed.

Chris is a classic ex-boyfriend, who you desperately want to turn good. No matter how annoying he is in the story you find it hard, like Skye, to dislike him. Her best friend Lindsay, seems a little less like a best friend, and more like a friend to eat lunch with. I really feel this book would have been more enjoyable if the author had delved more into the descriptions of each character. Nonetheless, I found myself wanting to finish this story.

All in all, I enjoyed reading this book. I foresee a future series with this, since there were a few areas with room to explore further. If a series did come out I would be first in line to read them. I would love to know what happens next in the life of Skye and Morgan. What is life really like for the two now that she knows he turns into a panther? Is she really okay with it? If you enjoy a fast-paced fantasy romance with two main characters hard not to love, then you need to check this out. You will probably find yourself reading this in one sitting.

Take a peek inside for super spies (okay, so there’s some bumbling involved), super villains (think realllly evil), and one super ghost hunter (with gadgets and stuff, oh, my) plus some super, smokin’ hot romance!

James Bondage: An abandoned warehouse, some fancy spy gadgets and two spies vying for the same spy coup. Oh, and a pair of handcuffs…

Blunder Woman: Deep in the heart of the city, evil lurks — and it wishes Captain Daring dead. One woman alone can save him. Err, right after she graduates from Hero Bootcamp…

Jane’s Blonde: When her sister Cindy goes missing, retired — and newly divorced — washed-up ex-international spy Jane Blonde gets a call from her old boss. But there’s a catch. Alejandro Estes wants back into her bed. And her life.

Who Ya Gonna Call?: What’s a guy to do when a hot babe has a ghost that needs busting? Yep — you guessed it. Gustavo’s going in and taking no prisoners… except maybe Devon Masters…

Who knew spies, superheroes and the like could be so amusing? Apparently Dakota Cassidy had a darn good idea. This collection of short and hysterical stories will change the way you look at them all while making you ever more curious about what they do during their down time. The Spy Who Snagged Me is a collection of short stories involving spies, superheroes and ghost busters and a whole lotta laughs. So, sit back and prepare to giggle.

James Bondage starts off this great collection of stories by Dakota Cassidy. When veteran agent Cindy Crisco discovers that the new agent on the block is after her job, she decides it’s time to step up her game by getting a jump on the next mission. Little does she expect that her competition has the same idea. This was a bang-up start to the collection. Fun, steamy and laugh a minute for sure. I love that Agent Crisco is an ex-beauty queen with cellulite. Not something you’d normally find in a spy. And her competition, James Bonde, is sexy, determined, and just as sassy as she is.

Following hot on the heels of James Bondage we get the longer and even steamier story, Blunder Woman. Kennedy is whisked away from her mediocre day job in the mailroom and coerced into being OOMPH’s next big thing. Unsure of herself and even less sure of her abilities, Kennedy has a long way to go before becoming Thunder Woman. I loved Kennedy’s personality – once she was convinced that this was what she needed to do, she refused to let anything or anyone – not even the hot and intimidating Captain Daring – stand in her way. She’s a master at picking herself up, pulling her act together, and pushing forward. It was also nice to have a semi-insecure hero as well in Captain Daring. He wasn’t completely incapacitated by his past, but he was hindered by it in a way, and that was refreshing for me. All too often, the heroine is the only one carrying any sort of baggage. We also provide the most secure method of transaction because we understand the importance of the hard-earned money of the customer. cheap viagra http://secretworldchronicle.com/category/podcast/book-two-the-hunt/ Who knows what extent this to the problem of cheapest cialis in canada ED with anyone. The distinction is crucial for this discussion on creating a permission list because of the active word prescription for cialis purchase here – permission. Amazing and long lasting results with zero loved that cialis generico canada side effects is because the medication is flowing throughout your body system after 30 minutes from intake. This was definitely a step up in the steam-o-meter as well, as it was packed full of intense and sexy love scenes. Blunder Woman is a definite home run.

We return to No Stone Unturned, the agency that employs Cindy Crisco, in this third story, Jane’s Blonde. Cindy and her new partner, James Bonde, have gone missing and it’s up to Cindy’s sister, Jane, to find them. Jane is older and wiser than her sister, Cindy from the first story. She’s also a retired agent. So, when she returns for this one last mission to find her sister, she discovers a lot about herself that she’d much rather leave a mystery. And more than the simple fact that she’s gotten older and out of shape – she’s forced to confront the man that ran out on her seven years prior. Jane really has it together, recovering from her past mistakes and moving on with her life, even when that entails making more mistakes. Of the four stories, Jane’s was my favorite. It was a much more well-rounded story with a ton more action – both the regular and the steamy variety. I also loved the whole setting of a beauty pageant for the second half of the action. It made for a lot of fun and a different setting than I’m used to seeing.

We wrap up this fun collection of stories with Who Ya Gonna Call. Devon Masters has a problem – a kinky ghost with a penchant for sexy underwear is inhabiting her apartment. She calls the first ghost buster she finds in the yellow pages and invites him in… and invites more than she had planned. I think the best part of this story has to be Gus’ internal dialogue. He’s always talking to himself and it cracks me up. I guess if you have to talk yourself out of something you might as well be amusing while you do it, right? I also love the idea of a well-meaning, meddling ghost playing matchmaker. It’s a fun idea sure to instigate many many giggles and a whole lot of hot loving. Who Ya Gonna Call has simply the best ending of all four of these stories, it made me giggle and say, “Aww,” at the same time. And not only is it the perfect way to end a story, it’s a great end to the collection as well, bringing it to a happily satisfying end.

If you’re in the mood for some fun with your intensely gratifying love scenes, then Dakota Cassidy is the woman for you. And if you happen to want a little suspense and action to go along with all that steam and humor, then The Spy Who Snagged Me is the perfect collection. Filled with fun stories about spies, superheroes and more, it’s sure to bring a laugh to your life and a sigh to your lips. Absolutely one of the funniest, zaniest, and sexiest series of stories I’ve read in a long time. You can’t miss with this!

When Shyla Smith learns of her grandfather’s death, she travels to Hood River to put his estate in order. Shyla’s not thrilled with staying at his humble cabin in the middle of a forest, and when a welcoming committee of four wild wolves greets her at the front door, she all but runs back to New York City. Nothing could have prepared her for the secrets which were about to unfold.

Coal Demmering and Jacy Roddery are the spiritually appointed mates to Shyla. The problem? They need to convince a city woman she belonged with them in Hood River, she descends from a highly revered white wolf bloodline, and a rebel pack of wolves has her marked for death.

With Coal and Jacy filling her nights with passion and her days with danger, will Shyla finally submit to the call of her wild heart?

“Darling, you may wish to censor your thoughts. I can hear them.”

From the explosive first meeting between Shyla, Coal and Jacy the chemistry is hot, hot, hot. Shyla has heard stories about wolves and weres her whole life but never considered them to be anything more than that… stories. The Blue Moon Legacy was merely a legend told by her estranged grandfather in the letters he sent her. Or were they?

Regale has created a beautiful and exciting story where legends are real and the white wolf is revered by most but endangered by a select group of rogue were.

Shyla is such an enigmatic character. She is in denial about the legend and especially about her role in bringing back the white wolf. But, she wants it to be true and feels the tug in her soul that it is all true.

As I said, the chemistry between Shyla and her men is hot, so is their dialogue. One of my favorite lines was from Jacy speaking to Shyla, “Aw, babe, I’m loving the way you look at me.” A moment while I swoon…

I loved that Ms. Regale make Jacy and Coal so competitive for Shyla’s attention. They know they have to share their mate but neither is willing to make it any easier on the other. It makes for some humorous as well as tense exchanges.

This installment is listed as a 1st in the Blue Moon Legacy and the fact that Shyla had white wolf cousins that were missing leaves a perfect opening for a second and hopefully third in the series. This reviewer will be keeping her fingers crossed with that happy thought. I definitely recommend you read this book.

This story is set in the Horde Wars universe.

Cady and Obsidian, two greatly revered Shikar Warriors, know they share a love like no other. A love that will last forever. A love not even Death can interrupt.

And now it’s time to put that love to the ultimate test…for Death is on its way.

After years of marriage, Cady and Obsidian are still going hot and heavy. You would think they were still on their honeymoon from the way they cannot seem to keep their hands off of one another.

This story kept my interest the entire time. These two are blissfully married from page one and I enjoyed watching them interact with each other. It was refreshing to see a couple who has been together so long still as madly in love with each other as if they had just met.

Sacred Eden also had a great supporting cast that, in the end, were willing to do whatever it took to help out their friends. I especially liked the Traveler with his mysterious know-all ways. It is easy to Buy online sale viagra Online from local as well as online drug store. You can choose among several flavors: Lemon, levitra canada pharmacy Mint, Strawberry and Pineapple. Whenever a person asks for assistance related to erectile dysfunction they strictly advise them to have unica-web.com levitra professional around 30 minutes before you plan for sexual intercourse otherwise you don’t need to leave work early to stop at the pharmacy, and won’t end up wishing you had remembered to go to the drugstore when you realize you need a lift at bedtime. Hence, most of the physicians prescribed cialis professional effects to treat your health problem, get it from the nearest pharmacy in your own town. I guess I have always had a thing for dark, mysterious men.

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the ending of this story, which left me with too many questions. I was confused about why the story seemed so incomplete. Then I checked and learned this was the fourth story of a series, which was something I hadn’t known going into it. I assume that these questions are answered if one reads the entire series, but it would be nice if the reader were alerted before starting the book, but at least a notation on the cover.

However, the undying love between Cady and Obsidian is remarkable. Throughout the entire story, even when they are bickering, I could tell how much they loved one another. This is even more evident when they have to battle the daemons. The fact that both are more concerned with their spouse instead of themselves, and their willingness to die alongside each other knowing they could not survive if they could not be together spoke volumes to me. I guess in the end I am just a sucker for romance and this story definitely has it. So if you enjoy reading about a happy, loving couple who indulge in plenty of steaming hot sex, then Cady and Obsidian may have what you want.
