It’s amusement park season for those of us living in the Northern hemisphere. Here are ten books set at these parks.
1. Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber
2. The Carnivorous Carnival (A Series of Unfortunate Events, #9) by Lemony Snicket
3. Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi
4. Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury
5. One Day at Horrorland (Goosebumps, #16) by R.L. Stine
6. Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan
7. The Summer of Cotton Candy (Sweet Seasons, #1) by Debbie Viguié
8. Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman
9. My Sister, the Traitor by Candice F. Ransom
10. Zyla & Kai by Kristina Forest

I’ve read several of those.. but many more to check out. Thanks!
You’re welcome. Happy reading!
What a fun topic! The only one I’ve read is the Goosebumps book and that was a long time ago. Loved that series as a kid.
Thank you. I loved those books growing up, too.
Oh this is so fun!
Thank you. I love the rides at those parks, especially the older and more gentle ones.
Fun choice, I would never of thought of amusement parks!
Thank you. I tried to think of something creative. 🙂
What a brilliant idea! Other than Pinocchio years ago, I don’t think I’ve read any of these.
Thank you. I hope you like them if you read them!
I would not have imagined there were so many books meeting this category! Only one I can think of is Goosebump’s “Horrorland” novel…
That was a fun read!
Books set at amusement parks are fun!! Thanks for stopping by RimSP 🙂
You’re very welcome. I’m glad you like these sorts of books as well.
I have Hot Dog Girl on my TBR. Didn’t realize there were so many books set in amusement parks.
It’s still on my TBR, too. Yeah, there are a decent number of books with this setting.
What a great idea! A fun topic. I do love amusement parks.
Thank you!
This is a really fun setting/topic! I wonder if I have any that would fit this because it seems like most of the reads involving an amusement park would be lots of fun to read. 🙂
Thank you. I hope you do!
Interesting and unique idea for a list! I can only think of one…Exiles by Jane Harper.
Thank you for adding to the list!
Fun topic! I really need to read more amusement park books, I love the setting.
Aren’t they the best? 🙂
Great topic for today!
Thank you.
Oooo that’s an interesting one! I can only think of one series of books that are set in an Amusement Park that I have read. They were good!
Have a great week!
What was their title? Or maybe you were referring to a series I mentioned? 🙂
OOoh nice pick! Yay Caraval too! I know I have a few more horror/thriller titles in my TBR pile that take place in an amusement park; some might be abandoned, some might be running! I can’t remember all of them but this is definitely a fun topic!
Thanks for visiting my TTT!
You’re welcome. It’s such a fun setting.
What a fun topic!
Thanks. 🙂
I still need to read Caraval!
Honestly, same here. 🙂
I wouldn’t never have thought of this setting in a million years. Bravo for thinking of it and finding enough titles to fill it.
Heh, thank you.
Great idea for a list! Caravan is the only one I’ve read, but I see a few that sound like fun😁
They sure were!
Oh, what a unique setting to choose! I used to love the Goosebumps books, and I even had an “Escape from Horrorland” board game that I used to love playing.
That sounds so fun! I didn’t know such a thing existed.
Oh, this is an interesting setting. I can only think of one book that would qualify but I can see the cover in my mind but not the title! Man, I am getting old.
Hope you can think of it soon. 🙂
I never would have thought of this topic. Great list.
Heh, thank you!
This is such a fun topic! I’m not sure if I have ever read Pinocchio, but I am familiar with the storyline. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
You’re quite welcome.
Ooh, I love your choice for a setting! Very unique. I believe the only one I’ve read from your list is Pinocchio, but they all sound interesting.
Thank you. Wasn’t that a good book?
This is a great setting! I don’t know if you read scary books, but Joyland is another good one!
Yes, I do read scary books sometimes. I’m looking up Joyland now. Thanks.
Fun theme! I really need to get round to reading Caraval, it’s been on my list for soo long.
Honestly, same here. 🙂
This was such a fun topic!! I’ve read several of these.
Thank you, Leslie!
Love your topic! I actually love books set in amusement parks but I haven’t read any of these except Caraval, which I unfortunately didn’t like. The other titles sound interesting though!
Thank you. I hope you like the other titles.
Zyla and Kai looks like such a cute read. I haven’t read much from Kristina Forest, but would like to pick up more.
May you enjoy it if or when you read it.
This is a really fun topic! I love amusement parks as settings for a book, they can range from nice and wholesome plots to chilling horror. I had no idea there was an ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ book set in an amusement park 🙂 Thanks for visiting my blog!
You’re welcome. Yes, there are so many different ways this setting can be used. It’s delightful. 🙂
Great list! I’ve read Caraval, but for the life of me, I can’t think of the name of a book that was set in an amusement park that is being taken over by people with guns. I remember that the mother was racing against time to get home and it was so good, but can’t remember the name. Of course.
Oh, that sounds interesting!
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book set in an musement park except for Caraval (and that never really felt like an amusement park haha)
