What a brilliant idea! Other than Pinocchio years ago, I don’t think I’ve read any of these.

  6. I would not have imagined there were so many books meeting this category! Only one I can think of is Goosebump’s “Horrorland” novel…

  7. Books set at amusement parks are fun!! Thanks for stopping by RimSP 🙂

  14. Oooo that’s an interesting one! I can only think of one series of books that are set in an Amusement Park that I have read. They were good!

    Have a great week!

  15. OOoh nice pick! Yay Caraval too! I know I have a few more horror/thriller titles in my TBR pile that take place in an amusement park; some might be abandoned, some might be running! I can’t remember all of them but this is definitely a fun topic!

  21. Oh, this is an interesting setting. I can only think of one book that would qualify but I can see the cover in my mind but not the title! Man, I am getting old.

  22. I never would have thought of this topic. Great list.

  23. This is such a fun topic! I’m not sure if I have ever read Pinocchio, but I am familiar with the storyline. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.

  30. This is a really fun topic! I love amusement parks as settings for a book, they can range from nice and wholesome plots to chilling horror. I had no idea there was an ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ book set in an amusement park 🙂 Thanks for visiting my blog!

    • You’re welcome. Yes, there are so many different ways this setting can be used. It’s delightful. 🙂

  31. Great list! I’ve read Caraval, but for the life of me, I can’t think of the name of a book that was set in an amusement park that is being taken over by people with guns. I remember that the mother was racing against time to get home and it was so good, but can’t remember the name. Of course.

  32. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book set in an musement park except for Caraval (and that never really felt like an amusement park haha)
