I was quite surprised by this book, it wasn’t what I expected. It was very well written and stayed true to the time period with references of things happening in the background of this love story. Edward and Helene’s story starts out rocky and doesn’t get any better until they learn to trust each other and be willing to open up to the other, only then do they start to let their feelings grow.

Overall this was a great story with wonderful characters and a healthy dose of sex that definitely kept me wanting more until the last page.
