Paris Expose is a story full of twists and turns. Cerise DeLand has created a strong female character, one willing to explore her sexual side. Deanne has decided not to settle for just living a boring life, with a man who doesn’t excite her. The adventures she has with Andre are all very erotic, and the heat level rises throughout the story.
I loved the way the author made Deanne the strong one, and gave her options at every turn. The location lends itself to romance: it is Paris, in all of her glory after all. And the fact that Andre exposes her to many new and unexpected pleasures in locations not readily thought of as “hot spots” is terrific.
When Deanne decides to return home, back to what she sees as “real” life, the hurt that Andre reveals is a reversal of so many stories. Do they end up with a happy ever after? You’ll just have to read Paris Expose to find out. But bring a fan, and plenty of ice water, you’ll need it.
