What happens when a man finally decides he wants to go from best friend to lover? Is it possible to take that big step with your female buddy without ruining the friendship? Patrick Kaye hopes so.

Computer programmer and designer Jada Michaels has given up on finding the perfect match. Her last three relationships ended badly because her ex-boyfriends spent more time at the spa than she did.

Besides, it wasn’t like she didn’t have a man in her life. Patrick Kaye was her best friend and sounding board. Who needed a boyfriend when she had Patrick?

Computer nerd seeks woman of his dreams. He’s willing to change to what she wants – especially because the changes are who he really is. How to win her attention? Why not use a few Lucky Charms?

Ms. Rochelle excels at writing steamy novellas that hint at sex without letting her characters go off the deep end. I enjoyed this short story because Patrick and Jada are just like people I know. Seeing them decided whether moving their deep friendship into a long term ‘more than friends’ relationship was exciting.

I liked Patrick’s idea to run with Jada’s description of love. This is how the demand for the on cialis line is increasing. She wanted to be romanced, not just hunted as a sex object. The charm bracelet and small notes of desire were sexier than watching the characters actually make love because you could feel the passion between them. I also enjoyed the card game where Patrick confessed that he couldn’t wait much longer to tell her how he felt. We all have friends we want to share our news with, especially when it’s such important news. And who’s’ better to give us that little kick in the seat than close friends?

Ms. Rochelle writes about real people with real problems. Many writers struggle to make their characters relatable, but this is her forte.

If you want a saucy novella about friends maneuvering the rough waters of a relationship, then Lucky Charms is the novella for you. I give this one 4 ½ cherries!
