Escaping the depraved servitude of a vampire master she killed, Jessica has found her way, with three nomadic guides, to the sun-baked desolation of the Sahara-only to slowly perish. Then she hears the tale of Farida, an enigmatic beauty lost as well to the Sahara three centuries ago, whose ancient desire for the legendary vampire Lord Mason is stirring the same desires in Jessica. But the more Jessica’s fatal curiosity reveals of Farida, the closer she gets to Lord Mason’s irresistible and forbidden secret.

As a ginormous Joey W. Hill fan, I was eager to read the latest in her Vampire Queen series, Beloved Vampire. Ms. Hill crafts stories that challenge the preconceived notions of romance and puts a reader in their proper place–on their knees. You won’t find another author in the genre that writes as beautifully, with such attention to detail and character development. But I never could have known that as soon as that final page of Beloved Vampire was turned, I would flip back to the beginning and take the entire journey all over again.

For those unfamiliar with the series, the Vampire Queen’s “vampires” are exceedingly dominant in nature. Due to this, they only take on servants with a deep-seeded need to submit. BDSM in paranormal makes for fascinating reading, and as you explore this complex yet beautiful world Joey W. Hill has created, you’ll find yourself continuing on even as a portion of you wants to turn away. In previous installments, it’s been about the serenity that comes with absolute submission. Besides, free samples of cialis not offer protection for sexually transmitted diseases that can lead to testitis accordingly. However shopping on-line can be a cialis 10 mg popular pastime amid folks worldwide, lots of individuals do not have enough time but still would like to learn how to recognize dangerous situations and potentially advantageous moves. There are lots of bad substitutes being marketed as Kamagra medication online, and you need to keep a pharmacy link viagra 50 mg barrier up between these ‘sharks’ and yourself. But in this latest offering, there is so much more at stake, and I found myself unable to put the story down. Both protagonists are tainted by the past, so much so they can’t move forward. It’s only through that all important lending of trust that they will be able to open old wounds, cleanse them, and begin to heal.
Jessica and Mason are, without a doubt, two of my favorite characters of all time. You’ll cry with them, you’ll ache with them, and before it’s done, you’ll rejoice with them. I’ve never read a story that demanded–and wrung–so much from me, but gave so much more in return. That’s what makes Beloved Vampire so fantastic. Jessica and Mason become more than the sum of names on a page, they are actual people you care for. And as an incentive for the fellow JWH fans (like you need one): Lyssa, Jacob, Danny, and Devlin all make an appearance.
Beloved Vampire is a book you won’t forget. I’ve read it five times, and plan to read it at least a dozen more. If you haven’t experienced the poetic prose of Joey W. Hill, there’s never been a better time to start.
