It’s hot as hell in Southern California, and Kelis LeBrun is having a bitch of a time keeping his focus and his fangs off the delicious looking Ms. Loni Soleil. Perhaps if it weren’t so bloody hot, he’d be able to stave off the hunger pangs. But the only way to do that is hot, sweaty sex…something he’d swore he’d never have with Loni. He couldn’t let her know he was a 300 year old vampire.

However, when they become trapped on an elevator during a rolling blackout Kelis discovers Loni has a few secrets of her own.

The one thing I look for in a vampire romance is a good bite scene and Kyann Waters knows how to deliver the goods. “Hot Blooded” is sensual, seductive and contains a surprise at the end that simply made me smile in delight. Actually, I think I said, “Cool!”

Kelis is a man who is resigned to the isolated life he lives, if living is what he does. He has no friends, no one he can trust and his character tapped into my inner nurturer. Kelis is a vampire I wanted to see happy.

Loni is the surprise. She is his ultimate temptation. Her character is sweet and earnest yet I could tell there was something about her that had me suspicious. It helps to increase fairness and glow of skin. 2.Saffron paste when applied on wound accelerates buy cialis cialis healing process. 3.When sandal wood and saffron paste mixture is applied on forehead it helps to reduce pain and inflammation Nervous system disorders: This herb strengthens nervous system. The effect of the blood lasts for approximately 24 to 36 hours. brand viagra It discount cialis http://www.glacialridgebyway.com/windows/Runestone%20County%20Park.html heals the damaged tissues and nerves in the reproductive organs. I really can’t say too much more because the POV in this story is from Kelis’ view point. To Kelis, Loni is everything he wants but can’t have. The push/pull inner conflict Kelis wages within himself allowed me, the reader, to connect and care about what happens to him.

The sexual tension spikes to incredible heights when the elevator stops and darkness embraces them. Kelis is hungry for more than just blood and more than just sex but can Loni give him what he needs? Does he dare take the chance? Why isn’t Loni afraid of him? Based upon one very intriguing comment she makes about the library, she’s not and that had me wondering all sorts of things.

Once again, I find that I cannot tell you any more. I want you to be as astounded and surprised as I was by the ending. It’s a sweet and very satisfying HEA but what happens in nothing like you’d expect from a vampire romance. I believe Ms. Waters to be a master–or is that a mistress?–story teller. In “Hot Blooded”, she has taken the stereotypical vampire romance and turned it on its ear, presenting readers with a fresh and novel ending sure to please and amaze.

Ms. Waters knows the proper way to write a vampire bite for full sexual impact, how to save a tortured hero and how to give a reader a refreshing, exciting and unique HEA. It’s all wrapped up in a short story aimed at the best of what vampire romances are known for — a happily ever after you can sink your teeth into.

Kara just wanted to buy the sexiest dress she could find to wear to her divorce hearing. Instead, she finds herself alone in a department store with Jack, the most gorgeous security guard she’s ever seen. What starts out as a misunderstanding, leads to the hottest sex of her life. Will fate bring them together again or will this just be a one-night stand that leaves them both wanting more?

Hot, hot, hot! Who hasn’t fantasized about hot sex with an even hotter stranger? And Ms. Eton does a fabulous, stimulating job showing this reader just how exciting a forbidden rendezvous like that might be.

Kara starts the evening simply looking for a sexy dress to make her soon-to-be-ex-husband eat his heart out. But she loses track of the time, and ends up staying in the store after it closes. When Jack, a cop moonlighting as a security guard, finds her half-clothed in one of the dressing rooms, he assumes she’s a shoplifter. Kara, too, is all hot and bothered, and suggests to Jake that she might need to be frisked. One thing leads to…the hottest sex either has ever had. Jake wants her number, but Kara is mortified and just wants to escape.

This was a very well-written erotic tale with plenty of heat, and surprising humor (wait until you see what happens to the ex!). I had only one complaint–and it will sound ambiguous in an attempt to avoid a spoiler–but in my opinion the hero’s…hmm…behavior jumped the gun a bit at the end. Still, that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. If you’re looking for a fun, steamy, well-written erotic romance then I highly recommend “Moonlighting”. In fact, I enjoyed it so much, I ran to check if the author had any more stories available!

Review: Blackout

Blackout
by Dara Edmondson

Kendra’s boyfriend accuses her of being a cold fish then dumps her for a coworker. She laments her sorry love life. But when a blackout traps her in an elevator with a sexy Latin, she discovers her inner vixen and sets out to make up for lost time.

From the opening paragraph, Blackout grabbed my attention and thrust me into Kendra’s plight. Ms. Edmondson zeroed in on the one scenario guaranteed to strike a chord leaving me with an intense need to see Kendra happy.

Kendra’s self-analyzing and inherent shyness is a characteristic many women share. Add that to her initial inability to let go and let others see her being herself and you have a breeding ground for misconceptions regarding Kendra’s personality. I too prefer to fade into the woodwork when I’m unsure. It is viagra samples a well-known fact that men are overtly a lot more active sexually as compared to women. There is no fear of shame generic levitra as it remains confident to all. I could understand perfectly why Kendra acted and spoke the way she did when first faced with Jorge.

Speaking of Jorge,(or should I say dreaming?) he is an awesome character. His reactions to Kendra, his attempts at conversation, even his attitude was spot on.
He is an incredibly likable man with his own confident yet cautious personality which charmed me.

When the opportunity presented itself, Jorge again tried to reach out to touch the porcupine and found a quivering passionate Kendra-kitten just waiting to be petted and played with. And oh, how they played. It was sensual, touching and I felt it was like watching a sunflower turn towards the warmth of the sun. It was great fun for the characters and me, the reader.

You know what I liked about how it ended? I get the feeling that the best is yet to come. And I believe I got my wish — Kendra is going to be VERY happy.

If you enjoy stories with characters you can connect with and a romance you can sigh over, then Blackout is a good bet.

Review: Black Dragon’s Blood

Black Dragon’s Blood
by Anita Philmar

Amanda Spencer had spent years searching for clues to her first husband’s murder. Now, she was close, too close to let a William VanHorn get in the way. He wanted to claim her as his wife, but she didn’t have time to satisfy the man’s needs. She wanted answers not sex.

Set on fire by Amanda, William wouldn’t let the lady escape. If she wanted answers, he’d get them. As head of the Dragon Center, he had connections and nothing would stop him from capturing her heart.

If you pick up Black Dragon’s Blood expecting a standard dragon fantasy, you’ll be disappointed. Ms. Philmar has constructed a rich futuristic world for her dragon hybrids to live in. It’s a world of science, flying cars, elixirs, and all sorts of interesting details that enhance the story and the readers’ experience.

It’s fun to watch Amanda and William navigate this world together. This viagra soft tablet is kind of the like the plumbing in an old house. A person will be able to make erections firmly only when the blood is passed in a proper manner. order viagra prescription Rock nutrients bought lowest price for cialis at the neighboring drug-store are a loss of funds mainly because they can’t be ignored. The second type is normal spermatogenesis, but the viagra price vas deferens appears obstruction. They have quite a fiery relationship and a lot of the conflict comes from the two of them fighting with each other and trying to assert control over their situation. William is very alpha, and at times was a bit too high-handed for my taste. Most readers who like alpha heroes shouldn’t have a problem, though. Some readers might be bothered by one of the dominant biological plot elements – when a woman with dragon blood gets pregnant, instead of receiving nourishment from the mother via the umbilical cord, the baby gets it from the father’s sperm.

There is a lot at stake for Amanda and William. Amanda must find the answers to the questions surrounding her first husband’s death before she can move on with her life. These same answers are important to William as they impact the Dragon Center and the people who depend on it. The mystery was so interesting that I wished at times that there was a better balance between it and the very well-written erotic elements in the novel. The plot thread was tied up very satisfactorily at the end, though.

All-in-all, Black Dragon’s Blood is a unique erotic paranormal that mixes speculative fiction elements very well. Recommended for readers who enjoy Susan Kearney’s futuristics and yearn for vintage historical alpha males.

Review: Welcome To Eden

Welcome To Eden
By Rynne Raines

Within the walls of Eden, temptation rules and anything goes…

Psychiatrist Caitlyn Ward never imagined setting foot inside the hottest fetish club in Los Angeles until the day a patient’s concerns about sexual desires went beyond her expertise. Now, determined to uncover the answers needed to alleviate her patient’s mind, Caitlyn ventures into a world of dark and forbidden pleasure beyond her wildest dreams.

Let me first say; I had heard of this short story, read the blurb on my own and had already added it to my wish list when I realized I could review it! Now, I have to say, I’m incredibly glad that I did, as I got the chance to discover and enjoy a new-to-me author that will now be added to my auto-buy list.

When Caitlyn Ward is confronted with her ignorance as far as fetishes, by one of her own patients, she decides to take matters into her own hands and investigate a lifestyle that has always fascinated her. Whether she was willing to admit it or not, the thought of giving up control to someone else is something she finds titillating and she convinces herself that she is only doing this for her patient. I loved to see how uncomfortable, yet fascinated and extremely turned on she was by what she witnessed in the club. Her reactions to Evan were intense and kept the heat going from the moment they set eyes on each other.

Evan Chambers is the owner of Eden and when he sees Caitlyn in his club he’s convinced she must be playing some sort of game, and her innocence only intrigues him even more. Evan’s sense of humor and intensity had my pulse racing on more than one occasion, and I envied Caitlyn her contact with him. When he’s just as determined to show her the many elements that make up her sexuality, I just wanted him more!

Rynne Raines has created a winner with this short story that left me wanting more, if only to get more of a taste of the heat generated between Caitlyn and Evan. My only complaint… I wanted MORE! I just fell in love with these characters and Rynne Raines has become someone to watch for. Her skillful blending of humor, heat and the beginnings of a relationship are more than enough for me to wholly recommend Welcome to Eden as a hot, intense and quick read.

In the BDSM lifestyle, Catherine Lanyard is an extreme submissive with serious baggage. For years, she’s avoided her pain and hidden dark secrets. Now, an experienced Dom has broken through her barriers and forced her to face her fear. Sex was always a give and take for Justin Travers. He’d always kept his “lifestyle” practices separate from real life. But when Catherine blurs that boundary, he must decide what he really wants.

“The Mask She Wears” is an unusual representation of the BDSM lifestyle, but I found it fascinating. The way that Catherine deals with long-suffered demons is both sad and triumphant at the same time. Which is the bestselling anti-impotency medicine? Her personality and the urges that drive her conflict, but in the context of the story, this contradiction works well and for me, makes her a more interesting character.

Justin is just yummy from beginning to end. Patient, attentive, and willing to give Catherine what she needs even when he knows the risk to himself is great. Of course, he’s not bad to look at either, which is always a plus! I loved that even though he has fears and reservations, he doesn’t let them deter him from his goal, and even takes chances that could lay bare his heart.

The two of them together are magic, and it starts from their first meeting, which I adored. The plot of “The Mask She Wears” is complex and I saw it as a wonderful story of healing and new beginnings. I highly recommend it!

This sexy, short story had me on the edge of my seat from the start. The wonderful location and physical descriptions set the stage so well and allowed me to really enjoy and appreciate the characters. It was as if the author had painted a picture for me.

With very little time for character development, the heat and intensity of their encounter is what drove this story.
