There are books that are good and then there are books that grab your attention and never let go — this one happens to be one of those. With characters full of depth and emotion this book had me glued to my seat and turning the pages to see what would happen next between the three. I loved seeing the easy friendship the men had and the trust that Emma gives them made for a great read. This author has found a new fan and I will be sure to look for more books. The secondary characters are very likable, but can be a bit overwhelming. I did not have the pleasure of reading the previous stories in this series, which left me at a disadvantage because there are so many characters that I felt disconnected to. With that said, I can see how readers of the previous stories would love these characters and would want more of them.

This story had a very dynamic plot, which made it extremely entertaining. Not only were the main characaters trying to sort out their relationship, but they also had to deal with rogue werewolves and intolerant families. Again, since I did not read previous stories within this story I felt a little disconnected from some aspects of the sub-plots. One plot I felt completely emotionally involved in was Sebastian’s personal issues. Poor Sebastian only seemed to have his parents and Marcus in his corner. Because of his half-blood heritage, he is viewed as a misfit among his kind. While this made the story complex it is a common situation so it made the emotional connection with the characters particularly Sebastian more in depth.

This story was definitely action packed which made the time fly when reading. There was never a dull moment and for that, I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a good, sexy shifter now and then.

Her characters are easy to relate to, cheer for and live on in the ever expanding and vivid world of Divine Creek.

If this is your first trip to Divine Creek get ready for a fantastic adventure. You won’t have to have read the other books to enjoy Maya, Kendall, Boone and Richard’s story but you’ll soon realize that there are several reoccurring characters who’s stories have already been told as well as others waiting in the wings. Do yourself a favor and become a part of this unconventional community steeped in true love and happily ever afters!

One character that I could not get enough of in this story was Josh. He may not have been a main character, but he was by far the most entertaining. His antics had me laughing aloud and anticipating the next time he would show up in the story.

Another thing I really enjoyed in this story was the subplot with Finn and his group joining the Sons of Thanatus. It really let me see more characters as well as get a better understanding of who the main characters are. While this storyline was a little baffling to me at first in regards to who and what the Sons of Thanatus are, I quickly caught on and was deeply entertained. The subplot also allowed me to be introduced to the supporting characters that I cannot wait to see in future stories. A very enjoyable read.

As always, Mikayla’s men are up to the challenge, and they also have help, as all three of Tracey’s men are there as well. I liked catching up with everyone, from Tracey’s pregnancy news, to the surprise news from their old nemesis Jessie, Peter’s former fiancée. There are more than a few surprises here, and one very dangerous scene that threatens everyone’s happiness, but Ms Blake was very ingenious in how she tied this up.

I enjoyed catching up with everyone, and enjoyed the creativity Mikayla’s husbands used to make sure that no one knew just who the father of the children would be. In my opinion, this is the hottest of the six books, and it provides a satisfying finale to the adventures of Mikayla and her eight husbands. I recommend this series to anyone who likes hot action, mixed with romance and a touch of danger. But be sure you read them in order, as they are not stand-alone stories.

It was so good that just as soon as I got to the end I had to turn around and read it again. The characters’ personalities and feelings added fire to the heat between the heroine and the heroes. I was surprised that I didn’t see smoke come off the pages. For a debut novel it was full of mystery, action, and heat in a beautiful laid out plot, and I am eagerly waiting for the next tale by Ms. Cole.

It was nice to catch up with Alana, Rayne and Dirk and see that they are still just as firmly in love as when we last visited Wilder.

Cameron comes to learn Quaid is hiding something from him, and he suspects the worst. But is he jumping to conclusions, or is Quaid just not the mate Cameron was led to believe?

As soon as I finished reading this story, I just wanted to turn back to page one and start all over again. While the story may have been over, I was not ready to leave these mesmerizing characters.

Reading Quaid’s background almost brought me to tears. Not only was his story tragic but the author had me so emotionally attached to his character I felt as if he was a real friend of mind instead of just a character in a story. Then when Cameron failed to recognize what Quaid needed I was as infuriated as the secondary characters within this story. Luckily for Cameron he and Quaid were able to work out their problems and have their happily ever after, because if not I was jumping in the story and smacking him on the back of his head.

This does not mean that I did not like Cameron’s character. I had to learn why he reacted the way he did to situations, which really explained a lot. I did not have the privilege of reading the first installment of this series, but after getting introduced to the characters of the first story I immediately added it to my must read list. While I felt the biggest connection to the main characters, the supporting characters were just as entertaining. Little things like Toby slapping Carmeron made me get to know the supporting characters and anticipate their involvement within the storyline.

The relationship development within this story was consistent and entertaining. I was drawn into the relationship from page one and never felt detached. The antagonistic conflict within this story also added an extra bonus. I would have liked to see a little more of a dramatic climax in the antagonistic conflict. It seemed to have been solved a little too easily for me. This antagonistic conflict is also, why I labeled this a forced seduction. While the sexual act was not completed the antagonists did try to force themselves on one of the main characters, and it is mentioned that they have done so in the characters past. Even so, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and would read it again, and recommend it to everyone I know who reads erotica.
