I really like I could see the humbleness and insecurities of all three main characters in their quirks and their banters making them seem more touchable and real. I felt an instant connect with the characters and anticipated turning the next page.

I’ve often said the word “choose” is an ugly six letter word. After experiencing the fantastic journey of Jessie Green and her Wilde men in Ms. Lang’s first series I was surprised to see that their cousins (6 brothers from a blended family) were split into two sets of three. I mistakenly assumed Ms. Lang was going to present each set with their own woman. Silly me, after all this is Wilde, Nevada. As we learned in the Brothers of Wilde series, the practice of plural marriages goes back several generations. The only “choosing” involved is when a group of men choose a single woman to make the center of their world.

Big city girl, Charlene Wynn hasn’t ever experienced anything like the men of Wilde. If fact, if she has anything to say about it, she’ll be talking some sense into her cousin Jessica before she makes the mistake of marrying the five men who won her heart. There’s no way this independent, self-sufficient woman of the 21st century is going to let one man, much less five or six, tell her what to do. Yeah, right! Welcome to Wilde, Charly. Ms. Lang has built a terrific world of plural marriages around this sleepy little mining town in Northern Nevada. I enjoyed every minute I spent there in her first series. If books one and two of the Strong series are any indication, this trip will be just as exciting. As with the first series, there’s an element of mystery to the Strong novellas. While I wasn’t sure who the mystery man was or who he was looking for from book one, I did get clarification in book two. I’ll be very interested in seeing if he’s a threat or if he has other motivation for coming to Wilde.

Book two centers around Charly and Heath. It’s clear the Strong brothers have no problem with creating opportunity to suit their needs. Heath made the decision to pursue Charly in spite of his younger brother’s obvious feelings. In his internal monologue I got hints about the reason the six brothers are split into two teams. I’m looking forward to learning more details about the mysterious Gabby who managed to tear the brothers apart. I think if they can convince Charly to stay, she might just be the glue to bring this feuding family back together.

You won’t have to have read the first series to enjoy the Strong brothers tale but you will need to read book one in this second series. Each book picks up immediately where the last left off and focuses on Charly getting to know one of the brothers more intimately. Extremely intimate! Scorch your e-reader intimate, even!

Spend some time with Charly and her Strong men of Wilde. They’re in for an emotional and bumpy ride but the HEA they find at the end will be more than worth it!

One of the key dynamics about a Bliss book is the chance of someone dying at some point is almost 100% guaranteed, but that isn’t “the story”. Homecoming, Healing, Forgiveness, Love and Passion are the true themes of this novel. I couldn’t put it down!

Noah left Bliss several years ago feeling like he knew where his destiny was leading him. A farce of a marriage and ten million dollars blown later he’s returned to a home that barely resembles the place he remembered. Fear of rejection and no small amount of pride stand between him and the opportunity to reclaim his remaining family and a woman who inspires him to believe in love (or at the very least lust) at first sight.

Noah doesn’t hold a candle to Hope in the “fear of the past catching up” department. A naïve girl with aspirations of being a supportive preacher’s wife quickly spiraled into nightmare fuel when she witnessed the evil in his heart. Hope has little to no trust in herself but dreams (fantasizes, really) of being safe, secure and snug between two original Bliss brothers. Noah and James have an uphill battle to convince her that what they offer is what they all need. Oh well, if talking won’t work there’s always spanking…and ropes…and toys. Sometimes it’s good to be bad. Hope may have doubts and fears but she’s no shrinking violet. She has an inner strength when it’s most needed and, if Rachel gets them printed, the t-shirt to prove it.

Local playboy, James Glen, is the third piece to this triad. Noah had it pretty rough when he left Bliss but he honestly doesn’t have a clue what his leaving did to James. Little by little Ms. Oak pealed back the layers of this complicated hero. The James that most of the single female population of Bliss County knows is a façade. The man underneath is barely holding it all together. If not for the help of his friends in Bliss he would have lost everything, including his legacy, a long time ago. I had to smile when James started making up reasons to spend time with Hope. He’s convinced himself it’s his “duty”, his “responsibility”, and his vow to Logan that keeps him near Hope. He just wants to be sure she’s safe. Right.

Ms. Oak knits the lives of her heroes and their woman into such a close tapestry over the length of a book it’s not unlike watching a weaver sit at a loom to create a masterpiece. The threads are loose initially as she slowly draws them together, tighter and tighter, with colorful descriptions, intricate details, fantastic tension and clever dialogue. The end result is a family, nontraditional except in Bliss, with a bond that can’t be broken even in death. I like how Henry puts it “They don’t simply share a woman. They share a life.” Smart man. Speaking of Henry, don’t underestimate this young man when it comes to those he loves, particularly Nell. After all, everyone in Bliss has a story and he wasn’t always a pacifist.

If you’ve ever read a Sophie Oak book prior to Pure Bliss you know to expect lots of kinky hot sex. Pure Bliss is no exception but I honestly think if Ms. Oak chose to write the book with closed doors it would be just as entertaining and worth the read. With some books I’ve read, the focus is more on how often and how many ways the lead characters can hook up than creating memorable characters and telling their story. Ms. Oak makes James, Noah and Hope fight for their HEA but the growth and bond they experience was actually tangible to me. I was connected, vested, to the story from the moment Hope is brought to the Circle G.

As an aside, I challenge Bliss fans to pick out the potential heroes and/or heroines for future stories. I can’t be sure of course but I met a couple of hunky new mechanics, a sexy waitress at Trio, a hot ski instructor was mentioned and we know Michael and Logan will surely be front and center before too long. I can’t wait!! Ms. Oak has a clever way of entwining not only her other two series into a story but I also spotted a couple of subtle shout-outs to fellow Siren authors.

There are so many fantastic stories centered in Bliss, CO and more to come. Stop wasting time and pack your bags for one more unforgettable trip to Pure Bliss.

I simply adore a character I can relate to. It’s not that I have so much in common with Dr. Emma Guthrie on a professional level but I could easily relate to her feeling like she hadn’t done enough, seen enough, experienced enough in her relatively short life. All of that changes when the opportunity to cross off items from her personal bucket list presents itself in the form of cousins Duke and Gage. Not surprisingly, the sexual chemistry was pretty instant; it was the way their personalities matched up so seamlessly on a personal level that really made their story sing.

Do you ever try to picture an actor or actress playing the part of the storybook character? I pictured Sandra Bullock playing Emma. She’s “girl next door” pretty and a bit of an introvert waiting to burst out of her shell. Duke and Gage are the perfect catalyst to literally push her out of a plane, up a tree and into a smoking hot ménage relationship.

I haven’t read many “geek” charming books but if the heroes resemble these cousins I’ll have to reconsider. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t pocket protector wearing nerds. They’re really just regular (hot) guys who happen to enjoy vegging out with a good Call of Duty game session with friends. Tracking and monitoring potential bad guys can be exhausting so I’d say they deserve some distraction and R&R. Lately, the distraction has been the sexy, sassy doctor downstairs.

The main premise of the story is Emma, Duke and Gage getting together and making a connection. However, there’s an underlying, and seemingly innocent, minor plot that causes a major wave in their lives towards the end. Overall, I think it was a necessary experience to show the characters they shouldn’t take their time together for granted.

Mr. Rainer does a splendid job of introducing some new characters and future stories within this holiday romp. I’m particularly looking forward to reading Clay’s story. The young lady who’s injured in front of his store seemed familiar to the clever jeweler and that’s guaranteed to mean fireworks when she recovers. I’m also curious to see if their story will involve another male lead (as all but one Divine story have at least two men) and if so, who will it be??

If you’re as totally absorbed by the folks of Divine as I am, you won’t want to miss Their Divine Doctor. It inspired me to create my own bucket list of things I’ve only thought about doing. As Gage, Emma and Duke discovered, there’s a whole world of exciting things to do and places to go if you just set your mind to experiencing life rather than simply talking about it. Pick up your copy today and be prepared to be swept into a world that is simply Divine.

I could sympathize with their relationship and how it their lives were so crazy, continuously twisting, and turning. I could not wait to see them get past everything and have the happy conclusion they deserved.

While I did not have the pleasure of reading the first Mate or Meal story, I still enjoyed meeting the main characters from it. It made me want to read the previous story in this series as well as read any others to follow. Especially, if I get to experience Shiloh and Liam occasionally popping up. They are two men I adored by the end of The Wolf Who Hatched An Egg.

Lydia Webster is determined to live her life by her own rules and make her own way. She loves her “mama-bear” big brothers but they have their lives and she doesn’t want or need for them to interfere in hers. Not to say she’s opposed to all men being helpful or supportive. The road to Lydia, Chance and Claytons’ HEA isn’t completely without issues. A gold-digger, an old flame and mouthy jerk each put some effort into creating a stumbling block for the lovers. As with all true love stories, these useless individuals are more annoying than actual trouble. Actually, it’s one of Lydia’s big brothers that cause Chance and Clayton any real pain. *Sigh* They never saw it coming.

I could literally go on and on about the clever dialogue, creative plot, the fluid storyline, built in soundtrack (my personal favorite touch by Ms. Rainier) and so on. This book is fulfilling on so many levels. Did I mention these three know how to set the sheets on fire? You aren’t just in the room when things get hot, you’re with them on the bed, the counter, the chaise lounge, the pier…bring a fan. Clothing optional.

Even if this is your first trip to Divine Creek, I have no doubt you’ll enjoy Lydia, Chance and Clayton’s story. There’re several returning characters and some storylines from other books that are brought in but that should only whet your appetite to go find the other books and not preclude your enjoyment of this book.

Author Heather Rainer pens some of my favorite full length ménage romance novels. I know each time I return to visit Divine Creek I’m going to meet and fall in love with a whole new and unique set of men and the woman lucky enough to catch their eye. With each new story I tell myself “this is going to be my favorite grouping” and then Ms. Rainier proves me wrong with a new installment to the series. The hallmark of an excellent storyteller is the ability to create a world where her characters continue to live on after the last page and where her readers beg for an opportunity to visit time and again. Lydia’s Twin Temptation is a fantastic read and not to be missed.

The author does an amazing job of building the tension and keeping readers on their toes trying to figure out the intended victim, the shooter and the reason behind the hit. There are several surprises along the way, good and bad, and one poor Bliss resident finally hits rock bottom. It’s going to take a trip to Texas to heal this future hero.

If you’ve never been to Bliss, what are you waiting for? This is a terrific series. I anticipate each new book even more than the last. The residents of Bliss become so familiar; it’s like taking a mini-vacay to visit quirky friends or odd yet lovable family with each new story. Take a break and find Bliss. You’ll never want to leave.

There is a really good foundation set for the series that includes six brothers and two sisters, and I am going to make sure they are all in my read pile.

He has to protect her not only from himself, but from the violent villain who now seems focused on destroying her.

That’s the moral of the story for Rand’s Craving. This is book five of eight in Keira West’s Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska. Six of the books are about Eve and one particular wolf in the pack, the first one all about them meeting and establishing a foundation really. I think it’s safe to assume book eight will be the icing on the proverbial cake and close up the suspense part of the story. Another thing I really enjoy is how there are actually several plots going on at once.

Overall, Rand’s Craving was an awesome addition to the series and if you read the others you must read Rand’s story. This isn’t a stand-alone book, but if you like wolves, bears, leopards and/or just really hot sex, you’ll not be let down reading the previous installments first. I can tell you this, I am waiting with bated breath for the grand finale in book eight! Holy hotness headed our way!

This is the first of many stories in this world, with a woman in each Night Runner’s future, but I like that Sara will always be the alpha-female for them all.

I look forward to each new story, and hope the happy ever afters just keep coming. This is one for those who like their romance in multiples, and with a bit of danger on the side.
