Let me just say that right from the beginning this was one HOT, sexy and breathtaking read. I was blown away right from the beginning by the sexual tension and the amazing plot line.

Maddy is a woman who has put herself on the back burner while taking care of the ranch and her very grumpy father during his illness. She has always been attracted to Lucas but has never really acted on it other than some harmless flirting. Maddy and Lucas have had a bond since they were teenagers. She’s very strong on the outside but about to snap with frustration on the inside. The Lady Makes Three was an amazing read that was well written with the reader in mind. Sometimes I wondered how the pages of my book weren’t bursting into flames. The plot line was remarkable and there were several times I had to say to myself “NO WAY, I CAN’T BELIEVE HE DID THAT!” I enjoy reading books by Morgan Ashbury because she always provides an action packed sizzling read that I know I am going to be amazed by. Ms. Ashbury just gets better with each new book she writes. I enthusiastically urge you to pick up The Lady Makes Three for a story line that will have you sweating it is so hot.

I was a bit surprised by this relationship, but I really enjoyed it.

All of these characters, along with the plot, come together to form a fascinating story. As for that plot, it centers mostly on a murder trial full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. I was especially surprised by the ending and I applaud the author for the choices she made with this revelation.

However, despite my enjoyment of the overall story there were a few things I felt were a bit weak and that left me with some questions. There are some story threads or twists that seemed a bit unfinished, as if something were missing as we moved forward in the story.

But despite this, I would say Twice the Pleasure is a great read that I enjoyed reading.

The main couple of this story was first introduced to us in T is for Temptation, the first book in the Witchy Women series, as secondary characters. And while D is For Desire can be read alone, I would recommend that you pick up the first one unless you don’t mind a few spoilers.

As for this story, the feisty heroine of the story is Dee Bloom, the acting Attorney General of Barbados, who also just happens to be a witch with the ability to heal others. Dee is very career-focused and determined to succeed at her job and goals. Her current goal is to see a known murderer and drug-lord brought down for his crimes and she is willing to do anything to make it happen…even use herself as bait.

Because of her goals and job, she has no time for a relationship, but when she meets up with Alex Mayfield, an attorney from the U.S., at their friends’ home during Carnival in Trinidad sparks fly and the two feel a connection and passion they can’t deny. I wasn’t quite sure about Alex at first but he goes from being a bit of an egotistical jerk to a kind man as the story progresses. He shows great growth and development throughout the story as does Dee as she adjusts to the many changes in her life. I really enjoyed their relationships with one another as well as with the other characters of the story.

Some of the events of the story are quite emotional and I found myself wiping my eyes a time or two. This story and its characters will really touch you and pull at the heartstrings. But even with the emotional and heartbreaking events, there is still some humor and levity to the story that I found quite enjoyable and well-placed.

Although I enjoyed most of the story, and your writing was very good, I couldn’t get past the heroine being in high school. So this story would have scored much higher if it had not been for the fact she was underage at the beginning, though I understand from your story why it was written this way.

I’ll admit that I do wish more explanation had been given about Eric’s background in magical abilities and his coven as that part of the story felt a bit weak to me, but overall I was very pleased with the story. Even the slight suspense element of the story was interesting as someone is out to do Eric harm.

I do have to say that while this book can stand alone, it might be best to read the first in the series to get a full idea of the curse that Karan and her two sisters face, plus there are some potential spoilers regarding the first story in this one.

Overall, I feel this was an entertaining read with charming characters and a fun romance.

Even the bad guys come across as believable and you are never quite sure who to trust or what will happen.

I also loved the exotic setting and the author definitely seems to have knowledge of the various locations. From Trinidad and Tobago to London to Scotland, with vivid descriptions and details the author made me feel as though I were actually there and I loved each new discovery about the settings.

While there were a couple of loose ends that I wish were tied up a bit better, overall this was a fun and cute story with a bit of suspense. It was definitely far from predictable and I never knew what was going to happen next in this complex story. The different twists and turns captured my attention and really helped to add to my enjoyment. T is for Temptation is a great read full of surprises!

She had her limits on what people could call her and I admired the way she stood up for herself. A girls got to set the limits after all.

Corby was the emotional pillar in the group and the one man who was legally married to Cassie. I fell in love with his character because he knew when to show her how much he loved her and knew when to stay back when his temper got the best of him. The characters were written in such a way that even if you didn’t agree with what was going on, you really wanted to be a part of the Teller clan, it was that exciting.

I have been a fan of Destiny Blaine since the very first book I read of hers and let me just tell you, this book is above and beyond any book than I had read from her yet. It was scorching hot and I am surprised the book didn’t spontaneously burst into flames. The ending of Sports Wives 3 was brilliant and it couldn’t have ended in a better or funnier way. If you are a lover of menage writing, then Sports Wives 3 is definitely the book for you. If watching a football game on Sunday is not your thing, leave your man to watch it while you read this book and the outcome will be a very exciting afternoon. You will be a lover of at least football players when you are finished reading it. Be sure to have a pitcher of cold water, you are going to need it. This was an arousing and brilliantly written book and now I am off to read books one and two!
