Twin Games is a hot story full of suspense and steamy sex that had me reaching for a fan. The chemistry between Jason and Angelina is instant and I enjoyed watching as their relationship developed. Jason was a great hero determined to protect Angelina, but she is very much an independent woman so giving up control to Jason is difficult for her. I thought the use of sexual games between them was well-done and I enjoyed how the author helped them build trust through the games.

In addition to Jason and Angelina, Jackson was also a great character. He was charming and, to me, felt a little inexperienced and unsure of himself despite his outer appearance of strength and sexuality. I found his insecurities a nice contrast to Jason’s confidence, but believe his encounter with Jason and Angelina helped build his confidence. I would love to know a bit more about him and what happens beyond the end because even though there is a scene between Jason, Angelina, and Jackson, this story is definitely Jason and Angelina’s. The three don’t share a full-blown ménage relationship.

As for the suspense and mystery of the plot, I enjoyed that aspect of the story as well. I was intrigued by the mystery and looked forward to watching the events unfold. However, I must say that the conclusion to the mystery felt a little rushed to me as it seemed to wrap up rather quickly. But despite this, I did enjoy the twists and surprises that were revealed as it concluded.

As with the first book in the Heroes of Silver Springs series, we once again meet Tripp and Bailey, two of Jason’s fellow firefighters. I loved this secondary storyline and often found myself more intrigued by this couple than by the main characters of the story. In my opinion, their story almost overshadowed that of Angelina and Jason and I became emotionally invested in Tripp and Bailey’s story. Their story helped make this book stronger.

Overall, Twin Games is a good read filled with fascinating characters and an intriguing mystery.

I was drawn into the lives of these characters and I couldn’t wait to read more. This touching story took me on a rollercoaster of emotions and I didn’t want the ride to end.

Prince Phandir is a character from several of Ms. Holly’s earlier works. I felt sorry for all that had happened to him in his life up to this point. Losing his wife, sold into slavery, declared dead by his family. I wanted to do whatever I could to give him a small measure of comfort. When his cousin, Muto comes to him to accuse him of wanting to reassert his place in his house, I wanted to strike Muto for being so evil. The character of Charles is not as developed as either Beth’s or Pahndir’s is but I could feel the draw that he had for the Yamish people. His attraction to both Prince Pahndir and Beth is explored in various scenes and I felt at times that he was just a third wheel to Pahndir and Beth as opposed to an integral part of their threesome.

I found Demon’s Fire to be an enjoyable read, and was delighted to see several characters from previous books making an appearance. This story can be read on it’s own but I was able to understand subtle nuances of the Yamish culture and the alternate world of Victorian Age Earth easier from having read the previous books in the series. There were many twist and turns in the story and numerous sizzling sex scenes of which Ms. Holly writes so well. I enjoyed Demon’s Fire and highly recommend you give it a try.

Darian holds all of the keys to the future of both families. He has a little insurance to ensure the Spensers and the vampire elders know it. He also plans to keep everyone, even his own brothers, completely in the dark.

The Winning Virgin Blood Series just keeps getting better and better. Twelve year-old Constance from Winning Virgin Love is now all grown up and ready to tackle the Sabbats. One does not have to read the previous books in the series to enjoy Winning Virgins Lust but I recommend doing so in order to understand all the intricate details of all the stories that are interwoven in this book.

I did get the feeling that Constance Spenser and Sebastian Sabbat were fated to be together. I thought she played up being a brat. It was expected of the Spenser’s little gem so she played along, especially with her brothers. I found her to be very stubborn. Sebastian loves Constance and does what he has to in order to insure that she is taken care of according to vampire laws in case something happens to him.

More characters are introduced in this third book. Gabriel Sabbat is Sebastian’s older brother and plays a major role in the lives of Constance and Sebastian. Darian plays a small but very important part in this third book with regards to Samuel Spenser. I now wonder if he really is a bad as the previous books made him out to be.

I am very happy to say that there are loose ends still floating around this book so it gives me hope that a fourth one is in the works. I highly recommend reading not just this book but all of them in this incredibly hot and well-written series.

I’ll be honest. When I chose this book for review, I expected your “usual” ménage with lots of hot sex, but not so much romance or emotion. And, I absolutely got the “hot sex” part right (just reading this book gave me an aerobic workout if you judge from my pounding heart!), but this book packs a doozy of an emotional punch as well.

When Roxanne runs out of gas on the side of the road, and can’t reach her best friend with benefits, Jay, she calls the police for help. When Ivan Soto, sexy alpha male, shows up to offer roadside assistance, Roxanne has no idea that all her fantasies are about to be fulfilled. Off duty, Ivan gives her a ride home, with every intention of giving her even more once they get there. Little do they know, Jay has gotten her message and decides to make sure she’s okay. When he pulls up to her house and sees the sheriff’s car, he knows exactly what’s going on, and decides he wants in on the fun.

Jay is a hoot. He’s funny, easy-going, sexy and he loves Roxanne but he has dreams that just don’t allow him to make long term commitment plans. When he walks in on Ivan and Roxanne, he’s more than ready to join in, but Ivan isn’t so sure he’s into sharing. In fact, he goes as far as getting ready to walk — not only is he jealous and doesn’t want to share Roxanne, he wants nothing to do with another naked man at all.

KyAnn Waters handles Ivan’s discomfort believably and with a great deal of humor. I loved the awkwardness, and the way all three of them dealt with their needs and their emotions. Even after they have one hell of a good time, and everyone is more than satisfied sexually, Ivan is still not thrilled with the choice, and he leaves. Roxanne is devastated, but allows him to make his own decisions.

Jay, though is having none of that. He confronts Ivan and they have a man-to-man talk. I enjoyed every last minute of these two and their guy talk. I have never read a story with a ménage where one of the parties is so incredibly uncomfortable with the idea. Watching Ivan slowly understand that he could love Roxanne, and she him, and they could still include Jay and it wasn’t wrong, nor did it make Ivan any less of a man … just, wow.

This story was so well written, and I enjoyed every word. I would have liked it to be a little longer, but only because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these three yet, not because of any deficiency in the plot. Ms. Waters very happily brings this group of people together in a loving, sexy, rough-and-tumble, romantic way. This book is a must-read, and then a must-read again!
