In Blind Devotion the plot picks up after Derek and Jay go hunting for fresh meat and were attacked by rabid wolfmen. As in the other four books Ms. Black used her wise crack punch lines and crazy Imagination to bring the characters and their personalities to the forefront while creating an entertaining and unique tale of werewolf’s are wolfmen as she calls them since they do not shift like the legendary werewolf.

I found the story to be a truly thrilling journey in the world of “what if”; what if a virus mutated the human body and changed the world we know. Despite a few editing bumps, the two series are very entertaining and I look forward to reading the next book.

I highly recommend the series to anyone who enjoys a new twist to the werewolf theory and loves an author who has a slightly warped sense of humor that comes out in her characters.

The Men of Five-0 series is part of Siren Publishing’s Love Xtreme line but is different from the other series in that each book is a stand- alone story. I would recommend reading the first book, Shared, to get a better view of each of the characters personalities and how they met, however, it is not necessary in order to follow and enjoy Shared Too.

I will be keeping an eye out for more books by Ms. Harlem in the future.

As they fight the new evil they find themselves becoming closer to each other and understanding the pain Jaycee feels. Watching their bond cement itself was a beautiful read. The three men are now ready to defend and finally stand by their mate and that is all Jaycee asks for. Seeing the men finally understand and give Jaycee what she wanted from the start: their understanding and trust made for a great read.

I was taken on an emotional roller coaster ride in this book. Not only do we get romance but action as well. The author does a wonderful job of combining the two and keeping the story fast paced and interesting. With the many twists and turns in this book I was glued to my seat and turning those pages to see what would happen next.

I would advise readers that this book contains some graphic sex and that some may want to be cautious before picking it up. This is also book three in a series and you need to read the first two to really understand and enjoy this book. Trinity Blacio is a very talented storyteller and I will be going in search of more books from her.

With so many bodies in the bed, how can a girl not get flustered? If I had to give this story a heat level, it would be “scorching” because you cannot help but fan yourself while reading this tasty treat.

One thing that did not change was Elijah who I thoroughly enjoyed in the previous story Sanctuary, and he did not disappoint in this one. His spitfire personality really keeps everyone on their toes, which with so many characters is not an easy feat. This fiery personality ensured his place as one of my favorite characters.

Two characters that did shock me were Andrew and Logan. They seemed like different characters. Logan is no longer the strong domineering alpha who seemed like a borderline bully. Instead, he became an understanding partner who loved and respected his partners. In the first story Andrew seemed to be as much as a leader as Logan, just not the same style. In this story he seemed too submissive and sometimes got lost amongst the stronger characters. These changes were not necessary bad changes, but they left me feeling a bit puzzled because the changes were so drastic.

Asylum also introduced two new main characters to the storyline: Malik and Kali. Malik is a strong character and purposefully vague. The writing style of this story read very smoothly. With a story involving so many characters, I was worried I would get confused as a read. Instead, I was able to easy tell each character different personalities and keep up with the actions including in the bedroom. This is something I really commend the author on. She even incorporated small details like different nicknames from each of the main characters to make you understand which was speaking.

Still, the story was able to stand on its own and even added a little more than the first story, and for that, it was an enjoyable read.

Ms. Oak throws in several secondary characters that add so much to this epic story. A cousin to the twins and a vampire, Dante, plays an intricate part of insuring that Meg has a chance to realize the love she has for Beck and Cian even as an evil hag tries to tear them apart. I can’t wait to read Dante’s story. Ms. Oak has already indicated that it’s in the works. The small sample of how she handles the vampire plane was but a teaser that has me impatiently waiting for the next installment.

Bound has all the best elements of an epic novel with a smoking hot love story. The characters have both strengths and weaknesses that make their fantastical story all the more believable. Pick up a copy of Bound today and for goodness sake NEVER ACCEPT A RIDE FROM A KELPIE!

This is a tough story to tell in so few words. Ms. Dare does a good job of showing a couple that is not quite getting their needs met with each other and knows they need a third in their relationship to complete them. But the first meeting seemed rushed and without a huge amount of chemistry between the dom and the two subs.

The story quickly moves along into their first scene together. The sex scenes were sensual and hot but the story was lacking in character development. This story needed more time to develop the love we see at the end between the characters.

Still, this book was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between the threesome sizzled and the dynamic between the characters, especially the two subs, was fascinating. The story was light and fun without getting too invested in the characters. If you like your BDSM light with a sexy ménage, this book is a definite must read for you.
