I loved the opening with Sully jumping in his car and heading out for a new beginning, contemplating the past but with high hopes for the future. Ms. Zwaduk did a wonderful job with describing the small town setting and the farm which Marley owns and where Sully finds work. Both these characters were well drawn and likeable. It’s always fun to see characters who have loved and lost, reconnect. Sully is sexy and I wanted to nudge Marley to give him, first the job, and secondly, another chance with her.

My one complaint, I didn’t want this story to end. I would liked to have seen this turned into a longer story so these two could interact some more. The pacing is fast so it’s a quick read. I was completely involved in their lives and wasn’t ready to leave.

If you’re looking for a story set in small town America with characters you could easily meet in real life I’d recommend you read this one.

It took two step-sisters to mess with Cinderella but one was enough for poor Natalia because her step-sister is like Cinderella’s two wrapped into one, combined with Hedy Carlson from Single White Female. It gives a reader an idea of just what Natalia is up against – seriously nasty stuff.

If a reader enjoys stories that parallel their favorite fairy tales then this story is going to please and impress.

Natalia is a woman of character, innocence and pride. She is also gullible. Why do I say that? Well, there is that closet scene for one then her initial faux pas on the way to the castle. Thing is, she learns. And despite everything done to her Natalia never becomes embittered, disillusioned or spiteful. I think she certainly has a right to be but she strides through the mire of hate with grace and hope. She has that stiff upper lip that I’d expect from royalty but the author lets a reader into Natalia’s head so I’d know that her feelings run deep – that she’s plagued with the same doubts all of us have at one time or another.

The book is written from three points of view– Natalia’s, of course; Bennett, our prince and, interestingly enough, the villainess’. I believe it provided valuable insight into just how determined the step-sister was and what Natalia was actually up against.

Bennett is the future king and the man pitted between two women. His task and the plot conflict is to figure out which woman is the real princess because if he picks the wrong one, he’s going to be married to a viper. But how does he tell the difference? The answer is a tease and quite spicy.

I liked the fact that Ms. Below does not have the fairy godmother acting like a flash-bang major magical influence. She’s much more practical and down to earth. No wonder Natalia is so well adjusted. I thought it was intriguing that fairy godmothers and their roles might be a family tradition. I won’t say why I think that. Another thing that caused me to chuckle was a terrific line that was used as recently as Shrek. I wonder if other readers are going to catch it and how the author twisted it just a tad to fit this story. I thought it a touch of genius.

I liked Natalia, and although I wish Bennett’s character could have been explored a bit deeper, he does act princely with a devilish sense of lust to make him a great match for Natalia. That was fun.

Unveiling His Princess is a wonderful short story sure to entertain readers with a spicy and romantic fantasy.

It is only when Danyl realizes that Di has the key he is after that they reach an impasse. He wants it and she also needs it. Will she give him the key so that he can avenge his mother’s death? His father killed her just because she dared to have Danyl. 

Will their venture into the world of the demi-gods be successful, or will one of them lose their life in the process of avenging the death of a loved one?

This is a short story, but it packs a lot – it has to as it is the first in the series. There is also a prologue provided which sets the background and also in a way predicts that there will be other stories and the first half of the story is used to set the scene so to speak. Despite this, I enjoyed reading about Danyl and Di – it was refreshing to encounter the offspring of a demi- god who wasn’t arrogant or supremely self assured. Danyl’s character was a breath of fresh air in a somewhat jaded and stale world of alpha males who are determined, good in bed, gorgeous to look at and who often don’t possess a drop of humility.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for other books in the series, just to find out more about the world that Ms. Carney has created and to see who else is involved in this tale of prophesy, revenge and love. Well done Ms. Carney – keep them coming!!

I fell in love with each character. Julian is the ultimate caring male, and his actions show it. Kyle is the ultimate Alpha; I love a really good Alpha male – one who will take control but also lose some in return. Madeline is a great female lead – both confident and caring. She completes the triangle in every way possible. I loved all three of them together!

This is a first read of Elise Logan’s for me, but is absolutely not the last. I hope to hear more from these sexy men with wings. It’s a recommended read – my advice: Go get it!

I enjoyed their passionate scenes and their dialogue was concise and furthered the plot. There was a lot of world building thrown into a tight and well written short story and it worked well. Cold Blooded should appeal to readers of urban fantasy romances because the happily ever after is a good one not to mention a bit on the humorous side. I’m quite glad I read this.

When Derek leaves, the men decide it is best to end things so they don’t end up resenting each other. Will Derek and Max change their minds and be together or is this really the end?

Every time I read a story by Mr. Chase, it is always a true love story and Wishing For A Home is no different. The reader goes through a variety of emotions watching Derek, knowing he needs help to get off the drugs and alcohol and the pain of losing his ability to write, and hiding his true self from the public. It’s only more heartbreaking when Derek and Max decide that, even though they love each other, it cannot last. As a reader who has read the previous two stories in this series, I was extremely happy to revisit the characters from both. And this reader definitely cried at different parts of the story, but thankfully the author made it better.

I’m sure I’m not the only reader that has been waiting for this story for what seems like a very long time, but it was well worth the wait. Wishing For A Home can be read as a stand-alone but why would you not want to read No Going Home(Les and Randy’s story) and Home of His Own (Tony and Brody’s story)?

I definitely recommend this story and predict that if you are not already addicted to T.A. Chase’s writing you will be after reading Wishing For A Home.

I would have liked to have seen Ms. Adkins delve and develop more.

However, Between Heaven and Hell gives a glimpse of both, and would be enjoyable for anyone seeking a pithy book with likeable characters and a fair bit of adrenaline and suspense to keep things moving along quickly.

It was a nice change from the normal: man wanting woman, woman doesn’t know, but eventually gives in.

With the right type of characters and the perfect plot this story left me wanting more in a good way.

Unfortunately, this is something our hero, Roman, is lacking. In fact, Savannah’s so much in love that she’s willing to concede to things that make her initially uncomfortable. But as she strives to please her Master during their weekend of sexual fetish, she embraces her sexuality and the world of BDSM while learning more about herself, Roman and the nature of their relationship. At least, she believes this is what’s happening.

The longer the weekend progresses, the more Roman doubts he can give her what she needs as a submissive. Blinded by his love for her and deceived by their host, Roman believes that the only way Savannah could ever be happy is to be trained by Mr. Wilcox, who portrays himself as a real Dom, but in actuality is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. My heart went out to Savannah and Roman, believe it or not. They were simply victims of a malicious man’s plot to control someone that would have never been his. Mr. Wilcox (as I refer to him because he was definitely not a real Dom, one who cares, loves, and cherishes his submissive and does what’s best for her) is a villain you’ll definitely love to hate. Two thumbs up to Ms. Dubois for her well-developed plot, as well as the development of her characters.

This story is heart wrenching, intense, exhilarating, and had me begging for more. It is definitely not a book for the faint at heart. You can’t help but feel the love, pain and anguish that Savannah and Roman experience. I loved the ending because it was realistic given the trials and tribulations this couple had experienced throughout the book. This story is a true testament that true love can survive with the help of good friends. If and only if, you can get past all of the lies, a vicious Dom and truly listen to what’s in your heart.

I enjoyed the story immensely, will definitely read it again and recommend it to my friends.
