Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!  This week is a Freebie week.  Last week’s topic was on quotes, and I’m still in the mood to find good quotes.  A while back I did a post on quotes from Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, and so this week I decided to pick quotes from Persuasion.  I really need to make time for a re-read of it.  Enjoy!

  1. If there’s one scene in Persuasion that really stands out, it’s that letter at the end. I’d almost given up on that captain, and then he redeems himself. Superb groveling, haha. Thanks for sharing these quotes. 🙂

  3. A very interesting idea for this week’s freebie! I have not read any Jane Austen, though I have 2 on my shelf and 1 of them is almost at the top of my TBR right now, so I’ll be remedying this soon.
