You have some great ones on here. I love Sookie, even though I haven’t finished that series yet. Just finished Murder at the Vicarage over the weekend. Audible has a lovely full-cast audiobook! And I absolutely love anything Janet Evanovich writes. Her Fox and O’Hare series is a particular favorite.

I’ve read the entire Ladies Detective Agency series…..so many! Honestly, the first half of the series is good, the latter half is very much write-rinse-repeat and nothing much happens. Still, the setting and characters are lovely!

Great list. I read a few of these. I loved the Sookie and Vera Wong books. I haven’t read Metro Girl and that one looks good. A few of the ones I haven’t read look good. Guess I better start adding them to my list!

I’ve also had my eye on No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency and Flavia de Luce, they both sound so good! The only one I’ve tried is the Sookie Stackhouse series but only book 1.

Great topic and list! I still haven’t read any Agatha Christie, and I keep swearing that I’m going to! I’ve read the 1st No 1 Detective Agency book and really liked it (and had no particular reason for not continuing, other than always having so many other books to read). I’ve also read the full Sookie series, which I loved for a while and loved less by the end but I’m still glad I stuck with, 🙂 Hope you enjoy all of these!
I’ve never read anything from Agatha Christie either. Someday maybe that will change for both of us. 🙂

Good topic. I loved Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich but I once did the math–like me Steph and Joe are ready for Social Security and Medicare! lol I’ll try her new series. I love No 1 Ladies also.

I haven’t read any of these, but I’ve read a few other Agatha Christie books. I’ve definitely seen people saying good things about these series though, and I’m curious about some of them. I hope you enjoy them when you read them!

I love the TV series of The No 1 Ladies Detective agency! If I could find the books as ebooks, I’d love to read the series. I have Vera Wong on my TBR list. I read some of the Sookie Stackhouse books a long while back. Be prepared for some…, rather explicit sex scenes. Just mentioning it in case that would bother you. If not, then there is much to enjoy!

I don’t know why, but a lot of these covers are giving, “My grandma has a secret double life as a potential murderer or as a secret agent, and I really can’t tell which one and I don’t know if I want to know” lol Enjoy!

I’ve only read all of Sookie Stackhouse and most of Agatha’s Christie but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these.
