I thought I’d challenge myself and see how this week’s prompt would go with a word I don’t associate with books or reading at all: triangle. Surprisingly, there were quite a few titles to choose from. Here are ten of them.
1. The Men with the Pink Triangle: The True Life-and-Death Story of Homosexuals in the Nazi Death Camps
by Heinz Heger, David Fernbach
2. It’s Not Always Depression: Working the Change Triangle to Listen to the Body, Discover Core Emotions, and Connect to Your Authentic Self by Hilary Jacobs Hendel
3. Be a Triangle: How I Went from Being Lost to Getting My Life into Shape by Lilly Singh
4. The Greedy Triangle (Brainy Day Books) by Marilyn Burns, Syd Hoff, Gordon Silveria
5. Deadly Triangle: The Famous Architect, His Wife, Their Chauffeur, and Murder Most Foul by Susan Goldenberg
6. The Truth About Triangles by Michael Leali
7. Triangle (Star Trek: The Next Generation: Imzadi #2) by Peter David
8. The Girl in the Triangle by Joyana Peters
9. The Triangle: A Year on the Ground with New York’s Bloods and Crips by Kevin Deutsch
10. The Triangle Fire by Leon Stein, William Greider
Wasn’t this a nice assortment of genres and themes? What books have you read with the word triangle in their titles?
I think I’ve read the Star Trek one, decades ago!
So cool!
What a shocking word for this activity. I am so impressed you found ten words. I’ve pretty sure the only book I’ve ever read with Triangle in the title had to the do with the Triangle Shirtwaist company fire where the seamstresses were locked in so they burned to death. Tragic.
Thank you. It was a challenge but a fun one!
Triangle was a neat choice for this week’s topic. Be a Triangle sounds good. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. 🙂
Wow! Who knew there were that many titles with the word triangle in!
Have a great week!
Thank you!
Ooh tricky word choice! Definitely haven’t read a book with “triangle” or any shape in the title! These are all new to me ones for sure.
Thanks for visiting my TTT!
You’re welcome. I like challenging myself.
I haven’t read any of these. What an intriguing topic.
Thank you. 🙂
Now that’s a really unusual idea – I’m very impressed!
Thank you! 🙂
lol! I used to read The Greedy Triangle to my students when we started our geometry unit! Fun to see it on your list!
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing.
It is surprising that you found so many! Have a great week.
Heh, thanks!
Wow! It’s impressive that you managed to find ten books with triangle in the title!
Thank you. It was fun to dig deeply and find them.
You definitely challenged yourself with this word. The first thing that came to mind for me was a book about the Triangle Fire, but I don’t think that the one I read even had Triangle in the title
That book sounds super interesting! Yes, this was a tricky challenge for sure.
I have not read any of these! And this was a really interesting choice, I actually can’t think of any books that I know which have triangle in the title.
It took me time to find enough books for this list. That definitely isn’t a common word to be used in a title. 🙂
The Men with the Pink Triangle was brutal, but should be required reading. Glad to see it on your list.
Totally agreed there. Those poor souls.
Very cool – impressed you found ten titles with triangle!
Thank you!
Triangle is a great choice! I wouldn’t have even thought of it! Nice list here!
Thanks. 🙂
You’re right – I wouldn’t have thought you’d find so many! The Greedy Triangle sounds really cute though!
I know, right? 🙂
Triangle is an interesting word to pick! And you found so many as well.
Thanks!
Great list! I don’t believe I’ve read any of them, but they all sound intriguing. Have a good day!
Thank you.
I haven’t read any of these. And I haven’t read ANY books with triangle in the title! Amazed you found so many!
It was a fun challenge!
This was truly a challenge! I would never have expected that you would have found ten with the word triangle. I like that they covered so many topics and genres.
Heh, I had to cast a wide net to come up with enough of them. 🙂
Wow, triangle is quite uncommon for a book title, I’m surprised and impressed that you found these!!
It took some leg work for sure. 🙂
I don’t think I recognize any of these, but how fun that you challenged yourself! I try to do that in my list-making, but sometimes I don’t challenge myself as much as I intend too. 😉 Thanks so much for visiting my list last week. Apologies I didn’t visit here until now.
No worries, and good for you!
What a creative word prompt – I haven’t actually heard of any of these books, but several have piqued my interest.
Thanks. 🙂
