Huh! I did not realize Lady and the Tramp began as a book. Lady in the Van was a fascinating movie.
I was surprised by that, too!
It was my suggestion for the topic this week and I’m loving all these choices! Haven’t read The Lady in the Van but the film is wonderful.

I always forget that film’s like A Good Woman are inspired by books and that ‘ Lady Windermere’s Fan’ is its inspiration. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today!! 🙂
You’re welcome, Rissi. Yeah, it’s easy to forget which films are inspired by books sometimes.
Fab selection!
Thank you!
I love how you focused on one title for your list. I have heard of several of these.
Thank you. It was a challenge for sure, but a fun one. 🙂
Great list. Lady Tan is on my TBR!!
Thank you. Happy reading!
I looked for a title from the No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series but decided against using it in the end!
I really liked Lady Tan!
Wasn’t Lady Tan a good read? I liked it, too.
This was a really smart way to tackle this topic!
Thank you!
The only one of these on my radar is Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, which is on my TBR shelf. An interesting list.
I hope you like it!
I love Love Tan’s Circle of WOmen. Lis See is a rock-star author.
Totally agreed there. 🙂
I need to read Lady Tan – I loved some of Lisa See’s other books!

LADY TAN’S CIRCLE OF WOMEN has been a popular choice this week. I still haven’t read it, but I’m hoping to before the year ends.

Hey, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly! What a classic. 🙂
I know, right?
I didn’t realise Lady and the Tramp was a book! I haven’t heard of any of these but it’s great that you managed to find so many titles with “Lady” in it! I thought I’d have a lot more options on my shelves for this week’s prompt and was very surprised when I realised I didn’t! 🤭
Thank you. Yes, it was trickier than I assumed it would be as well.
Great list, even with such a tough prompt! I haven’t read most of these, but I’ve got Lady Tan’s Circle of Women on my TBR. Now I’m even more excited to read it.
There are a surprising amount of titles with lady in it. Great list.
