3. Zara Hossain Is Here by Sabina Khan

Release Date: April 6

It Sounds Good Because… it deals with some pretty pertinent issues like immigration, bullying, and xenophobia.


4. Lonely Castle in the Mirror by Mizuki Tsujimura

Release Date: April 22

It Sounds Good Because… portals to other worlds never fail to ignite my imagination.


5. Before I Saw You by Emily Houghton

Release Date: May 4

It Sounds Good Because…I’m fascinated by the concept of genetic matchmaking programs. Wouldn’t it be nice to immediately know which people would make a great husband, wife, or life partner for you? I think that would make the dating process so much easier for everyone.

  18. I tend to pay little attention to new/upcoming releases, so the only one I’ve heard of is Yolk, though I haven’t given much thought to if I should put it on my TBR or not. I love the cover for Blood Like Magic, and the synopsis sounds good, so I’ll have to keep my eye out for that one!

  20. I am really excited for so many of these! I can’t wait to get off the hold list for Yolk. I got an ARC to Quinceanera and I was a bit bummed. It’s part of my culture so I had high hopes. haha. It was cute and a fast read but I had some issues with the MC.
