From the moment I read the first story in Laurann Dohner’s Cyborg Seduction series, I was hooked. Her world-build is amazing, her characters are well developed and fascinating, and there is always so much sexual tension and heat it’s impossible to turn away. Saying I was eager to read the third installment, Melting Iron is an understatement. I knew I could expect something new, something hot, and something that would entertain from start to finish.
In this installment, we are introduced to Iron — a gray skinned cyborg with red hair, a gorgeous body, and a dominant streak a mile wide. The writing, as always, is excellent. Ms. Dohner keeps a clipped pace, ensuring the reader keeps flipping those pages to learn what happens next. I loved the clever banter between Iron and Dawn, as well as the unexpected surprises and obstacles that could have kept them apart but brought them closer together. Unlike other stories that provide different characters but use the same formula, you can expect variations and different twists and turns in this series, which is something I appreciate and enjoy.
