Review by HibiscusColin MacDuff has grown up learning the ways of Highland warriors from his father, Donell–but he’s never believed his parent’s fanciful stories of time travel, true love and a brooch known as the Highland Jewel. Until…he lands on his butt, literally, in the year 1648. Before him is the most beautiful, not to mention sexy as hell, woman he’s ever seen. The only thing is, she refuses to be his or to believe in the power of the brooch.
Sera MacRae wishes she’d been able to escape the Highlands like her sister and vows she won’t marry for anything less than love, refusing to be a pawn in a marriage deal. Until…Colin shows her what she’s missing. He takes her body to the heights of heaven and back, all while proving to her that true love is possible.
Now, everything and everyone depends on the future of these two lovers. Will Colin stay in the past to save the future, and will Sera succumb to passion and love?
Love In A Box is the third story in The Highland Jewel Series. There are a few references to Warrior in a Box, the first story and Lady In A Box which was the second story in the series. I must say that it is possible to follow the story without first reading the previous books but the characters and the references they make are easier understood by having done so.
I loved the character of Colin MacDuff. He is a modern man who exists to go back in time. I loved that he was proficient in the use of bows and arrows and broadswords. I know it surprised Sera that he could best her with her own weapon of choice. I loved how Colin was persistent in his pursuit of Sera. Just like with any other drug, the development of a tolerance will occur over time so using the steroid Proviron to help a libido that lags will only make it worse once the drug is inserted into the body, the man view for more acquisition de viagra is able to assist the user with falling asleep as well as sleeping more deeply . Actually, Kamagra is among the first http://amerikabulteni.com/2014/12/11/bir-ulusal-guvenlik-yasa-paketi-patriot-act/ levitra on line generics that came on market. Besides, this pill also has buy cheap cialis no drug resistance and can be taken for long-term until the disease is cured. In some cases even if the erection exists, it is too late online pharmacy levitra in diseases such as cancer and heart attacks. With his upbringing, Colin knew he was meant for her and the ways he tried to sway Sera to accept him as a husband I found very enjoyable.
Sera MacRae is the leader to be of her clan. She is like a warrior in that she is schooled in warfare and the running of a clan. Sera struck me as a woman who desires peace but who will fight for what she wants. I like how she took it upon herself to return the stolen brooch to the Clan MacDuff. The episode at the little stream when Sera happened upon Colin was very good. I felt that I was there gazing at Colin. I could not help but laugh as Sera forgot the reason she went to the stream.
The only fault I found in the story was that there was no reference to the brooch being rubbed three times. I know how the characters are sent through time from reading the previous titles in this series. I just missed it being mentioned. I recommend reading the previous stories first but it is still possible to follow everything in the story without doing so. Love In A Box is a very good third book in this imaginative series.
