Honey Barrow serves the Alliance as an Encoded Courier, putting biologicals into her own body to keep them viable during transport. This job has kept her flying for years, but that is about to come to a screeching halt when she accepts an assignment to transport the semen of an Alpha multi-shifter to the High Prefect of Shoshan. Honey has to prepare for her job by intaking a series of hormones, throwing her into a simulated heat, a heat strong enough to gain the attention of the Alpha she needs to gain the co-operation from. Raddik pursues her with single minded intensity, guaranteeing her return to him via devious methodologies with no twinges of conscience. When her life hangs in the balance, a ripple of events takes her life and her job beyond her control and leaves her at the mercy of the Alpha.

The mind of Viola Grace never seems to run dry. Just when I think she can’t find a new twist, here comes another book.

Honey Barrow is an Encoded Courier for the Alliance. She transports biological materials in her specially transformed body to keep them safe and viable. When she is hired to transport the semen of a multi-shifter for the High Prefect of Shoshan, however, things are not all that they appear to be. For optimum viability, Honey must create an enforced heat in order to keep the semen viable, and the strength of it attracts Raddick, the Alpha she is to gather her “cargo” from. Sparks fly between Honey and Raddick, and when Honey’s ship is attacked by those trying to prevent the High Prefect’s pregnancy, the plot thickens. When Honey is left for dead, Raddick rescues her, but the damage has been done. Can Honey come to terms with the new situation? Will Raddick convince her of his good intentions, and his growing feelings for her? Can these two find a way to a happy ending, despite the odds?
