Review by: CactusLife for a bartender at the most glamorous, hip multi-racial club on the West Coast should be just that: hip and glamorous. Not for Jesse, though. The only human bartender in the club, he watches the special nights at Damon’s slide right past him, without having the courage to ever take advantage of any of that.
When Damon finds out that Jesse’s not only closeted, but still a virgin, he and Alyan set him up on a blind date with Alagos, a skilled habitué of Damon’s nights, who wants nothing more than to introduce Jesse to the thrills of sex and bondage. After an exhilarating first time, Jesse realizes he can’t get enough of Alagos. He’s going to do his best to break Alagos of his “no strings attached” rule and win the Elf’s heart — one blind date at a time.
When a relationship-phobic Elf and a virgin Human get together on a blind date sparks are sure to fly. Jesse is a bartender at Damon’s but is still shy, self conscious and a virgin amid the wealth of delights in the bar. When Damon decides to set up his old friend Alagos with the inexperienced Jesse, one blind date isn’t enough for either of them. However as Jesse’s feelings grow deeper for the footloose Elf, he must decide if he’s willing to accept their pseudo-relationship or push for something more like a commitment.
This is the second in a new series by Sophia Titheniel and although it’s easily a stand alone story there is a brief encounter between the characters from the first book. So those that have read the first book will enjoy the quick look at Damon and Alyan, but it won’t hinder those who are unfamiliar with the duo. Here once again the story centers mostly on hot, kinky sex in an urban fantasy setting. Titheniel excels with this genre and does no differently in this installment. The setting and characters are interesting, eye catching, and sexy. Apart from this it also promotes the production of the enzyme cyclic guanoyl monophosphatase (cGMP) online viagra that improves the blood flow in a body. Be that as it may, a portion of the manifestations are, for example, Anxiety, frenzy viagra buy online assaults, Irritability, Fatigue, Thoughts of death or suicide and numerous more. Medicinal conditions are an incessant reason for erectile dysfunction in male and you don t have to worry about any cheapest cialis complications. Eggs are likewise elevated http://www.learningworksca.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/COTFReportEmbargo.pdf viagra sale in vitamins B6 and B5. The sex scenes which make up the majority of the story are unique, fascinating and scorching hot, so fans of explicit erotica will definitely enjoy the extra indulgence in this story.
Unfortunately the same complaint I’ve had in the past about this author is re-iterated in this story. The writing is nowhere near the same level as the characters. There are numerous technical errors from editing mistakes to pronoun confusion, even some position confusion/mistakes during the sex scenes. The action that takes place – to a virgin no less – is pure fantasy and no doubt Jesse wouldn’t be walking straight or sitting for more than a week if it was in reality. The fantasy sex portion doesn’t detract from the story, however. I just wish there had been more attention to detail and care afforded the writing itself. The lack of careful correction is glaring and so obvious it was difficult for this reader to overlook – even in the face of hot sex.
Fans of the author will likely enjoy this fun, sexy romp filled with interesting and creative characters. This is a hot, fun book to read and rather enjoyable despite the problems, so those looking for that late night scorcher should consider picking this up. Hopefully future books by this author will show some improvement in the writing and can really fulfill all the potential latent in the books.
