Even though Skylar isn’t really looking for a man, Maxim is just what she needs. Together, they discover the meaning of true love, as well as the hardships and sacrifice that sometimes comes with it. Despite the challenges, neither is willing to give up the other. Working as a team, they uncover the truth and significance behind the artifacts Skylar found during the excavation in Rome, as well as what they mean to the Insedi people and their future.

Skylar has some supernatural skills that aid in their journey. While her abilities previously scared away past loves and earned her the “crazy” label, Maxim found her gifts nothing less than amazing. Skylar isn’t used to someone accepting her as she is. Her parents were the only other people who believed in her. When they passed away, her aunt and uncle used her abilities to convince a judge to lock her away in an institution because they claimed she wasn’t stable. To have Maxim accept her—weird talents and all—is more than she could have ever hoped for. Who was this mystery man and where did he come from?

I’m at a loss at this point. With each new installment of Ms. Prater’s Fueled by Lust series, I’m finding it more and more difficult to put the right words on paper to adequately do her work justice. Once again, Ms. Prater’s writing sucked me right in from page one. In truth, there have only been a few series that I’ve read over the years that touched me so deeply that I actually felt depressed because they weren’t real and even more so when they ended. Ms. Prater’s characters have certainly reached that status with me. If only…she definitely provides material that revs up my fantasies.

I love how Ms. Prater skillfully weaves in new characters with the old and makes everything blend so seamlessly. It feels like I’m watching a TV series and each new book is like a new episode. I don’t know how many she has in her, but I’m praying like crazy that it’s a lot. I will truly be saddened when this series finally ends. I am likely only one of Ms. Prater’s adoring fans and I think I can speak for all of us when I say, please don’t let it end! *smile*

If you haven’t checked out Ms. Prater’s Fueled by Lust series, then you are seriously missing out on some really good stuff. The men are amazingly sensitive to the needs of Earth women and it doesn’t hurt that they’re smoking hot. Each of her female characters have endearing qualities that make me love them just as much. I even love their pets! Barney is just awesome. They’re good stories about love conquering all told from a fresh and invigorating perspective. If you like a little science fiction to go along with your romance, then this series is for you. I absolutely loved this one just as much as all the rest. Maybe even a little bit more. It’s kind of hard to pick a favorite when they’re all great. Read one, read them all, just be sure to grab a copy of Fueled by Lust: Maxim, it is most definitely a worthwhile book.

Leah learns this the hard way, but thankfully she has two men that want nothing more than to help her to heal. Vincent and James are more than willing to let Leah make her own decisions and give her time but when it looks as if their time is running out what else can these two men do but fight for the woman that they love?

I cannot tell you how many times I had to stop and catch my breath with this book. The pain and the love that these characters have for one another is immense. Leah loved all three men and losing one before they even have a chance has her tied up in knots and not knowing where to go from here. The emotions that Vincent and James go through are just as strong. The three are wonderful together but Leah must figure things out for herself. She knows what her heart feels but can she give it again or is she just setting herself up for more pain? The love that the two men have for Leah is so strong and shows in everything that they do. I loved seeing how happy they could make Leah and how much that they cared for her.

Not only did I enjoy watching their relationship take shape but I also enjoyed seeing many of the other characters and their relationships grow. I am excited to see more from Kendry and Jared. It is obvious that the brothers are good men. I especially liked the moving scene where Leah listens one more time to Patterson’s heart. Like I said make sure you have those tissues handy.

This story had me right from the start and did not let go. The story moves along nicely and the characters quickly endear themselves to you. I am a big fan of the Divine Creek Ranch series and it seems that it only gets better with each new book.

The clash of these differing views on love and life is both erotic and bittersweet.

The plot revolves around the burgeoning relationship and the ensuing (melo)drama. There’s a precarious balance between being emotional and overemotional, between effective drama and overflowing melodrama. This tale dances on that knife’s edge. At times I felt Drew was being a bit over-the-top, crying all the time. Once or twice in a story is fine; after that it becomes excessive and the man feels, well, less manly. That constant crying never strikes me as true for a male character, which is why I couldn’t give this a full five stars. That endless blubbering just took me out of the story.

One thing I found pretty good about the plot twists was that Cal does finally decide Drew has hurt him enough, and leaves. This was a good choice because had he stuck it out with someone who was never going to give him his heart in return would have made Cal far too idealistic in the realism sense. No one really has that kind of patience when heartbroken. For me, that moment was realistic, forcing Drew to take action to change his life. Unyielding support would not have yielded the same results, I think.

Another thing I liked were the supporting characters, Chloe and Brett. They behaved like real people. Chloe has been Drew’s best friend since childhood but even she has her limits of what she can bear from a sullen Drew, and Brett loses patience with a moping Cal, even though they are best friends as well. The realism of friendship, where sometimes you have to kick them in the rear-end, was a nice touch to the tale.

Overall, I found this story to be immersive, sexy, and emotional, mostly in a good way. I was invested in the characters, and the plot moved forward at a reasonable pace. So I recommend this to all those who love M/M romances with emotional depth and lots of hot and heavy moments.

While her other stories in this line have a hint of male to male attraction, this one has full man on man action so readers of strictly M/F beware. I don’t typically read a lot of M/M stories, but I didn’t mind this time because I already knew the characters so well and I was pleased when things worked out for them. As for Caelius and Rhia, once again I couldn’t help but fall in love with them. Rhia is closer to my age so it was nice to see that us older gals still have a chance at finding the man of our dreams. Despite Caelius’ younger age, his actions and behaviors really show his maturity. Just like all the other Insedi warriors, he knows the value of women and he doesn’t take his role lightly. Despite a lack of response in his mating necklace, he still wants to look over Rhia and ensure her safety. He struggles between wanting to follow his heart and needing to fulfill his purpose on Earth and obligation to Insedivertus. But all hope is not lost, a visit home to see his father and seek his wisdom presents a glimmer of hope that perhaps he’s not the one broken after all.

Ms. Prater has woven another wonderful story of love, triumph, and romance. Book five in her Fueled by Lust line, Caelius’ story most certainly lives up to the precedence set before. As Ms. Prater adds each installment, I find myself totally engrossed in the Insedi world. The characters have become like family and I’m totally eager to see what happens next. Who will find their mate and what obstacles will they face? While this story focused mainly on the internal struggles of both Caelius and Rhia, there’s still a bit of danger in the mix. The ending provides a couple of surprising twists, leaving me on the edge of my seat, anxiously waiting for number six.

For an exciting story full of passionate embraces, endearing confessions, and super steamy sex, be sure to grab Ms. Prater’s latest installment of Fueled by Lust staring Caelius Meron and Rhia Brennan. First of all, I liked the characters in this book. Jessica was the kind of heroine that I enjoy reading about. She’s strong and smart and knows how to take care of herself. Instead of waiting for someone to save her she went ahead and did it for herself. Also, she was a plucky gal who wasn’t shy about propositioning a cowboy wearing big boots, if you know what I mean. She was new to the menage lifestyle, yet she was game to try it and even initiated the game. So I really liked her and that helped me to enjoy the story even more. Then there were the guys and I liked them both. I felt that Garrett was more sexy but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Seth.

This scorching hot book had a good plot and the writing was pretty much flawless. It had a good suspense to keep things interesting in between plenty of steamy love scenes. Only making it better is that I realized this book is part of an already ongoing series. It’s the fifth book in the Montana Double Riders Series. That is a series that I’ve somehow missed until finding this book. Oh well, I look forward to catching up…

I enjoyed every single page of this sexy menage story.

I can never get enough of the true love that is found in this series. Heather Rainier does a wonderful job of keeping these books fresh and pulling the reader into the wonderful world that she has created. Hank and Travis are great men. The two fight for and with Veronica. Never letting her forget how they feel and that so many others care for her as well. I loved seeing Veronica come out of her shell and become the woman she was always meant to be. The love that the three share shines brightly right from the start and watching them work through everything made for a great read.

I loved seeing everyone at the ranch and in Divine rally around Veronica when she needed the help and I have to say that Kemp and Duke stole the scenes that they were in for me. I loved Kemp and his duct tape. I also enjoyed visiting with many of the characters from previous books. It is nice to see everyone interacting and still being part of the stories making this reader feel as if I were visiting with good friends and family with each story. This book works fine as a stand-alone but there are quite a few reoccurring characters. Readers who look for books with strong alpha men and women who find strength in love and friendships should read this book.

Grace Ryles continues her Grand Oak Springs series with Claiming Her Temporary Men. This book is a scorching hot menage story. I greatly enjoyed it from beginning to end.

As far as the plot goes it was a strong one. It had a great set-up. Chase and Ryder are two brothers who want to settle down with one woman to share. But they’ve been hurt before and aren’t looking to repeat past mistakes. Then into their lives comes sweet submissive Emma and she is exactly the kind of woman they need. They propose a month long fling of sexy times between the three of them. They have an instant attraction so Emma agrees to a no strings fling with the two sexy ranchers. Needless to say that it’s only a game for a little while before deeper feelings are involved for all three lovers. Too bad for them, but good for the reader, there is quite a bit of personal conflict there. A brooding Ryder held onto his reservations about the relationship, while Emma struggled with it on a different level. On the other hand, Chase was more than ready which caused some problems with Ryder. However, the most intense conflict came from the bit of suspense that Ryles threw in for good measure. There you have it ….. Emma is in danger and that’s where things got really interesting.

I will say that the characters had great chemistry. The pages were full of sexy loving that rivalled any I’ve been reading lately. I appreciated that since it’s usually what I’m looking for when picking up a menage story. This one featured some bold BDSM elements. There are plenty of M/F/M scenes, and other treats like anal, spanking and flogging. Still, the bones of the story was the romance part as the relationship turned from instant lust to lasting love.

Another important thing was the strong plot. It was well written, in fact, everything was perfect to me. That includes the lenth of the book, it’s substantial enough, with characters that are fleshed out to let the reader get involved with them and the story. It was fast paced with an easy flow. Lastly, It was an emotional story. I loved these three but they had some serious baggage, and that made the story a more compelling read.

To put it simply, this was a great read for me. I enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one in the series.

At this point, I’ve just given up deciding on which book in this series is my favorite. Ms. Prater has once again surpassed my expectations. I immediately fell in love with both Tana and Lucien. In previous stories, Lucien made limited appearances and always seemed to loom in the background as this strong, untouchable figure that had a name, but not an overabundance of character, which made sense as it wasn’t quite his time. Here, he’s the star and boy, what a powerful one he is. While he’s certainly older than the main characters of previous installments—he’s the father of one, in fact—I finally got to see the youth in him. Suddenly, I removed him from the category of being “older” and placed him in the arena of the other Insedi males whose very presence commanded my attention because on their physiques, their emotions, and their alpha temperaments, and not simply because of their political status. Quite simply put, I fell in love. Again. I believe that if Ms. Prater were to come to me and offer me any one of her Insedi men, I’d have a near impossible time choosing. But it’s not just their gorgeous bodies that have me swooning, I think it’s the deep-rooted need and determination to protect their women. Call me a bit old-fashioned, but I yearn for a guy to make me feel like the most precious gem on the planet. Having him crave my body with insatiable desire doesn’t sound too bad either. Put them together and you just don’t get any more perfect than that. I’m afraid Ms. Prater has ruined me for the common man. While I don’t expect I’d find someone who can mist or live for hundreds of years—never say never—surely there’s a few guys out there who might come close to the perfectness of the Insedi male.

Book one caught my attention, book two had me hooked and asking for more, book three caused my addiction, and book four fed my habit. Now I’m left sitting here hoping for more, like a junkie strung out on alien men. Once again, Ms. Prater, I believe you have a few stories left to write. Leaving any of these mouth-drooling guys without a mate just seems downright wrong. And if you’re in need of a willing female, I’m your gal.

Sadly, I’ve reached the end of a story about one of Ms. Celeste Prater’s wonderful Insedi men. I could probably come up with a fancy way to say how great it is and why everyone who loves a little science fiction with their warrior should read it, but when it comes down to it, quite simply put, I loved it. No ifs, ands, or buts. Ms. Prater has weaved a magical world with memorable characters and meaningful dilemmas and I’d like to thank her for being so spectacularly creative. Her stories have touched my heart from many different angles and I’m so grateful I’ve gotten to read them.

This is my first book of this type and I really enjoyed it. I found it very readable and genuinely mystical. I was instantly taken with the story and became a part of the characters. Danger, romance and magic were all in this light imaginary world of Wulfren versus Wiccan. The novel was easy to follow; the author did not have a complex plot that was hard to follow.

The author did a good job on the character development. I enjoyed the spunky personality of Alisha. She was a likable character, and I found myself in her favor. The character’s were well described and were a joy to read their interactions with each other. The characters connected with a chemistry that made the romantic side of things tend to be quiet sexy. The bedroom scenes were hot. The novel has a good story line that kept my interest.

If you are looking for a quick magical romance Creole Moon is an impressive book that is sure to please.

One of the things that I loved about Chloe’s story is that she has real life reactions to whatever is thrown at her no matter if it’s the guys or some outside influence. When her step-brother makes his presence known in an unmistakable and personal way she’s scared, then mad and then determined. When Flynn and Noah go all uber alpha on her and start making decisions “for her best interest” she doesn’t simply meekly go along. I liked that she didn’t play the doormat.

Something else in Chloe’s character that made her easy root for was that she doesn’t protest too much. She doesn’t get all indignant and angry every time one of the men open their mouths. It made for some funny scenes as well as honest dialogue.

What’s not to love about two Aussie heroes? Oh my.. ::: swoon:::! I’m not sure what it is about the accent but even just reading it makes me a little breathless. Ms. Archer draws on her homeland to make these guys as sexy and charming in both speech and action. A sample of their smooth talking: ““I’ll enjoy every minute convincing you to trust us. You, on my lap, over my knee, under my body, tied up, tied down, or free to scratch, kiss, and bite—whatever it takes.” That’s some fantastic writing and it’s no wonder Chloe doesn’t stand a chance. The underlying theme in this novel is “trust” and it’s in no way one sided. Such a beautiful, emotional read.

Be forwarned: this is not BDSM for beginners. These guys take the position of Dom very seriously. Chloe’s boundaries are pushed but it’s completely consensual even when she fights them. The level of domination Flynn and Noah required of Chloe is pretty intense and made me nervous for her sake but in my opinion that’s simply the mark of good story telling. When I’m in the characters head and feeling what they feel.

Flynn and Noah have lived a lot of life in their short number of years as former SAS. Their experiences obviously color their perception of dealing with bad guys and what they hold as most important in their world. When Chloe becomes that “most important” these guys pull out all stops. I could totally buy into her feelings of being overwhelmed and needing space. These guys are intense and Ms. Archer builds on that intensity as Trent steps up his game. I stayed glued to the pages to see how they handle him! Prepare to have your heart twisted up by Flynn’s back story as well. I just kept thinking “Bless his heart”… such a heavy load for one man to carry on his shoulders for so long.

Speaking of the slice of crazy that’s stalking Chloe, wow, Trent is truly certifiable! Ms. Archer gives the reader some inner monologue for Trent and there is no doubt this guy is twisted! Having a stalker would be bad enough, having that same person be a part of your family? Yikes! Just when I knew I had it all figured out Ms. Archer tossed me a curve ball. I didn’t see it coming but it plays out so well. Chloe impressed me again with her tenacity and spunk. She’s small but she’s a whole case load of dynamite! With great friends and an amazing town full of people/neighbors who stick up for one another, how can the good guys lose? These are the kinds of stories that have me looking forward to returning to visit time and again.

I’m not sure who Mrs. Archer has in mind for the next book but I’m pretty sure I met some future heroes and at least a couple of heroines. I’ve added her to my auto-buy list and will be watching anxiously for the next installment.
