Ace Tyler is now the sheriff of Desire, and doesn’t think he is good enough for any decent woman. Ace is portrayed as having dark desires but I could see by his interactions with Hope, he was committed to bringing her happiness even if it meant that he would not have Hope for himself. This is easier thought than done, especially when the woman is as determined as Hope Sanderson.

Hope, along with her sister Charity, own Lady Desire, a club for the women of Desire, Oklahoma. Men have their own club so Hope thought it only fair that the women should also. Dark Desire is an exciting addition to the Desire Oklahoma series. It brought back some of my favorite characters from previous books and expanded their characters’ roles so much that I hope for more stories in this fascinating series. Dare I hope that Charity’s story is coming soon?

Ms. Denis’s story drew me in from the first page. He’s going away but he can’t bear to leave her. The compromise he comes up with is hot and so much fun. I could relate, being married for a while, there are times when you want to shake things up. I loved how Tony took things into his own hands and gave her a night to remember. It was indeed a steamy fantasy.

What I wasn’t totally sure of was how Cynthia tended to pass out. This could’ve been taken a couple different ways, and it still could be if this story has a follow up. I got that it was hotter than blazes in the station and sort of wondered why they didn’t go on the platform where it might have been cooler. Just a thought and really not pertinent. I liked the story as is and have already read it again and again.

If you want a story that has wonderful characters and lots of steamy sex, then you need to read Cinnamon. I give this story 4 cherries. Awesome job.

Intensity is a quick erotic romance that was easy to read and kept my interest. The dynamics between Keziah, Amos and Wesley were well choreographed with dialogue and descriptions that complimented the story. I enjoyed the tidy and sweet happily ever after and I’m glad I read this book.

This story definitely had its spicy moments as well as its sweet. I think this is especially true when dealing with the different men. You got to see more of Ayden’s spicy side since the relationship between him and Nicole was based on a physical relationship initially. With Trevor, they did not jump into bed immediately so they had a chance to fall in love with each other before experiencing the physical pleasures of their relationship.

By the time I finished this story I literally had to take a deep breath because I hadn’t realized I stopped breathing for a minute. If that is not a reason to give this story five cherries, I don’t know what is.

Nicole Morgan pulls the reader into the world of Sara and Mitch, easily keeping you there until the end. This book is a well-written and fast-paced page-turner that should not be missed.

I liked seeing the bond that the brothers have be put to the test and see that it stands up, showing that their family bond is a strong one.

Some of the secondary characters like Cindy and Tony caught my eye as well while reading this story, and I would enjoy finding out more about their relationship. If you enjoy an intense erotic read than this may be the book for you.

I loved how Ms. Salaiz showed the slow progression of what Marley was feeling, building up to one of the best surprise revelations I’ve seen in a while. I loved the new, stronger Marley that emerged.

Zachary loves his wife, and is devoted to granting her wishes. If those wishes include Cole in their bed, he is fine with it. Zachary is the strong alpha male, distracted too often by pack business to be there when things go bad. And Cole realizes he loves Marley, and will do what it takes to stay in her life. These three are fantastic together, and I enjoyed the shared passion they had. There were several surprise twists about who was behind it all, and these kept me on the edge of my seat till the very end. I love when that happens in a story.

I think the thing I liked best about the characters was how realistic they are. It almost seemed as if the author based the story off of a real couple that she knows. I mean, we all have regrets that we wish we could go back and change, right? Luckily for Wyatt and Jamie, though they couldn’t change the past, the had the opportunity to insure that they made up for their mistakes in the future. This story allows the hopeless romantic in all of us believe that if something was meant to be, it can definitely happen.

I do feel it is necessary to mention that although at the time this story takes place Wyatt and Jamie are adults they do conceive their child when Jamie was seventeen and Wyatt was twenty. There is a scene within this story that Wyatt looks back to when he found out about Jamie being pregnant and it contains an extremely detailed sex scene between the two. I know this may be touchy for some since Jaime wasn’t a legal adult, but I felt this scene really helped me as a reader understand the depth of the relationship the characters once shared and how difficult it was for both to lose each other at such a young age.

This story evoked feelings from me that a story has not done in a long time. There are moments in this story when I could feel my eyes begin to burn from unshed tears while other times I could not help but smile brightly. This story certainly had all of the key elements to make it a great and memorable contribution to Wilder Series.
