Kalli is the strong and independent bar owner. Hakur is the melting pot of the colonies, and Kalli is the only cook in the area. I loved Raleigh, a woman determined to stand on her own after the murder of her parents. I liked her independent spirit, and her determination to avoid the clutches of the evil prince. I found a bit more tension in this one, as the danger to Raleigh from the prince continues to escalate.

The three men are a delight. All three are tall, dark and extremely sexy, and when they realize who Raleigh is they show their delight quite honestly. I liked that in this book, because of the type of world Raleigh lives on, she goes to her mates as a virgin, having consistently thwarted the prince in his attempts to take her virtue.

If these two books are any indication, Ms. Masters has a hit on her hands, and I can’t wait to read more of this series, filled with humor, passion and screaming hot sex. If you are looking for some humor with your hot and heavy action, these are for you.

The family ties in this story are strong, and important to the overall outcome to this one. The heat level continuously rises as Symon and Alia continue to flirt and play, everything but the final act. I love the subtle way that Tana shows that it is already awakening, and the surprise twist at the end is fantastic.

I recommend this for anyone who likes their romance mixed with science fiction and humor.

There are a couple of interesting surprises in this one, and there is some very hot sex in very different locales.

I am always entertained by the mind of Viola Grace, and this is one book I recommend for all who like their romance with some fun and a lot of action.
