Rumored to be the most debauched party of the year on the East coast, The Midnight Masquerade has only two rules: no one leaves and the masks stay on until midnight.

But what kind of trouble can Hannah and two handsome strangers make before midnight?

Hannah is dressed to impress amongst the glitzy crowd at the Midnight Masquerade. The rules are simple, no one is allowed to leave until the end of the night, and your mask can’t be removed until midnight. Searching amongst the crowd for her friend, Ben, Hannah decides a glass of champagne is needed. At the bar, she meets Ashton Kane, the proprietor of the Midnight Masquerade. Sexy as hell and more than interested in her, Hannah lets Ashton lead her away to a private, curtained alcove. Sparks fly between them, but when she dashes off to the ladies room to collect herself, she returns to find Ashton elsewhere, heatedly kissing another sexy man.

This is a smoking hot short story, filled with sizzling sex and a threesome that will blow your mind. I loved the interaction, how the chemistry between all three parties was intense and equal. This isn’t a couple bringing in a third party – all three participants are equally attracted to one another and that made this a hot read. The interchanging between them and fast pace made me devour this book in one sitting, filling my head with all sorts of raunchy visions. And I’ve always been a sucker for a Masquerade story – something about the secrecy and romance always captures my imagination and this author did that scene justice.

When you only have a little while this is an excellent, quick read, sure to set the mood and have you panting for more. The characters have real attachments to each other, and the connection between them is both tender and smoking hot. A great read.
