Which is more important—redemption or attraction? Todd Orso is one of the best jewel thieves around. When he goes after the diamond, Hortensia, in the heart of Paris’s Louvre, he is stunned when it turns up not in his hands but in those of Celestia Armstrong instead. After three years in prison, he goes after her, seeking redemption and revenge. Instead, he ends up pulling them both into an unlikely partnership when he finds out they were played and betrayed for the jewel by a master thief, Tito Bandero. They embark on a journey to take back what is theirs and prove their worth. Their path is riddled every step of the way with mystery and danger. Guarding each other’s secrets and codenames—Fox & Hound—they watch each other closely and realize they have another problem: they are attracted to each other. What Todd and Celestia don't count on is the powerful attraction between them. When the quest grows dangerous, will they choose: payback or each other? ♥ ♥ ♥ Smokin' hot! Two jewel thieves Todd Orso and Celestria Armstrong meet unexpectedly (on his part) over Hortensia, a famous diamond about to be stolen. She grabs it, he takes the rap and that’s the beginning of the story. Even though Todd hunts her down with revenge on his mind it all turns to dust as they meet without the alarms going off. Of course the fireworks between them are there from the onset. Todd, a tall Texan with good looks and a regular hometown appearance will steal you heart also. He is indeed a regular guy from a small Texas town. He left years ago and got caught up in the excitement of big time jewel heists. That occupation owns him thoroughly with thrills and close calls. In spite of his occupation he is one heck of a nice guy and a gentleman to boot. |
