Plus-sized fetish model and aspiring chef Indigo Hartley has plenty of tattoos and a fiery attitude to match. When she’s offered a job as a sushi model for one of Miami’s trendiest restaurants, she jumps at the chance. Little does this country-mouse-turned-city-vixen know that what starts out as a modeling job will end up the answer to all of her kinkiest fantasies. Three days serving as a sub to this hot chef is too tempting an offer to refuse.

Banner Faust has worked his ass off and sacrificed his love life to become a rock star in the culinary world. On what should be the biggest night of his career, he realizes something is missing from his life—the submissive woman he’s always craved. The curvy new model with the blue-streaked hair and innate submissive nature just might be the one he’s been waiting for. And when he gets her home—and in his bed—he soon realizes three days will never be enough.

When I think of Wrapped Around Your Finger there are two things I’ll think about: a hand carved ginger root anal plug and yummy sex!

Indigo “Indie” Hartley meets Banner Faust when she’s hired last minute as a replacement sushi model for his restaurant. Banner knows from the moment he meets Indie that she’s a submissive. They are both instantly turned on. Their chemistry is incredibly stimulating. Totally enthralled, Banner asks Indigo to be his submissive for three days. Deciding nothing in life comes without risks, Indie says yes.

Banner Faust is an interesting hero. The day he reaches the apex of his career is the day he meets Indie. He finds the accomplishment hollow because he is alone. Serendipitously he senses the submissive he’s been looking for in Indie. Not wanting scare her off, he tells Indie he only wants her to be his submissive for three days, even though he wants much more. Banner is a strong and charismatic man. But it is his care for and protection of Indie that melted my heart.

Indie is one of those refreshingly unconventional heroines that you can’t help but love. She moved to Miami to reinvent herself. She rebuilt herself from a painful childhood with blue streaks in her hair, tattoos, and a starlet façade. The process of Banner getting Indie to reveal her true self is utterly beautiful.

I bonded with Banner and Indie immediately. They both had me wrapped around their fingers from the first page. I would describe this book as light BDSM. Indie is a BDSM virgin and Banner is not a rigid dominant. In fact, Indie only calls Banner Sir because it feels right to her. The sex was fun, creative, and scrumptiously detailed. It left me hot and bothered with a smile on my face. In addition, I’d never seen ginger so creatively used as a sexual stimulant. (I did some research and ginger is used in the “life” and has been used like this in literature since the Victorian era).

The book’s chef and fetish model premise is fresh and fun. Ms. Blake’s writing style is captivating and really draws you into the story. This book had a strong sense of fun mixed with spunkiness that is really enjoyable. Ms. Blake also did a brilliant job of describing Miami. As a native I was pleased to see a representation of Miami I totally agreed with. Both Banner and Indie are well-developed, believable characters who are looking for something more in their lives. This is one book I wished were longer.

If you’re looking for an erotic romance with captivating characters, a wonderful story, and scrumptious sex Wrapped Around Your Finger is for you. This is the first book I’ve read by Fallon Blake, and I will be looking forward to her next.
