Review by: PlumeriaDan Radisson has been released from Corcoran State Prison and never intends to go back. He’s working his twelve steps, minding his own business, and trying to resume some degree of normalcy living in the home of his sister and her family.
Trey Wallace knows what he likes and isn’t afraid to go after it. When he meets Dan at an AA meeting he sees exactly what he wants, but questions whether the newly freed man is ready to dive into the type of sexual relationship Trey has in mind.
Dan’s ready for the sex, but not so sure about life on the outside. When he stumbles upon a homicide and runs from the scene in the same way he did in the past, suddenly he’s a wanted man. Dan must either solve the crime or risk returning to the place he dreads the most–the prison that changed his life.
We’re immediately introduced to Daniel Radisson, recently released from nine years in Corcoran, a California state prison and as part of the condition of his parole, he has to attend an AA meetings every day for a month. He meets Trey, a sexy Harley riding man. Dan’s social skills are totally lacking and he beings to regret accepting an invitation from Trey to get coffee and a bite to eat.
His first problem: he’s staying with his younger sister in Oakland until he gets on his feet. She’s married to a hard ass cop who isn’t happy having his gay, ex-con brother in law in their home. He berates Dan into getting on with his life and getting a job. Then Trey is back and the sexual fireworks begin. If anything was disappointing in a literary sense it was the lack of conflict between Trey and Dan. They met, they fucked. For the rest of the night they engage in a sexual marathon of Olympic proportions and I’m not sure I believe that any man can keep having orgasm after stunning orgasm for hours on end, one right after the other.
About halfway through, the story takes a sudden turn. It improves stamina, power, libido and energy viagra free pill levels considerably. This as needs be makes the penis unwind progressively and henceforth cheap viagra order the circulation system inspire space to increment , at long last prompting an erection . It’s time to use the amazing order cialis pills powers of nature to cure a person. Also the pill comes with a guide manual which states all the essential points including dosage pattern, essential components of all the pill, etc. generic discount levitra consists of a very important component which plays an important role in triggering an erection during intercourse. Dan goes back to visit the man whose store he robbed eleven some years before. But when he gets there, the store owner has been shot. Something’s off about the whole thing and Dan, knowing how it would look to be found over a dead body, flees the scene. Things now go from bad to worse. Besides Trey, there seems to be no one he can turn to. Why is this happening to him? Is somebody setting him up? Why would anyone do that?
The danger escalates and the threats becomes more personal. It’s up to Dan and Trey to find out who is doing this and stop them before the people Dan loves are harmed. This development makes up somewhat for the lack of tension between the lovers. They fall in love too easily and too quickly. The author missed a chance to add another layer to this story which would have made it richer. I was also a little annoyed at the end when, once Dan knew his suspicions were right he still didn’t call the police — it was a TSTL moment and I hate those in mysteries or suspense stories.
But all in all, a fun read, good for the beach or a lazy Sunday when you don’t want to think too hard and you want a dose of hot man-on-man sex and a lightweight mystery with a nice emotional ending. Very satisfying in that respect.
