A witch. A wolf. A passion worth dying for…

In book one of the Lunar Mates series, Darius Stewart is banished and offered the leadership of a new pack. He has a new pack to settle and a rogue wolf terrorizing the local population, threatening to expose their species. The last thing he needs is a mate further complicating his life.

That’s just fine with Meg O’Reilly. As a witch, she knows something is not right in her town. Good werewolves, bad werewolves, and the possessive, bossy, sexy Alpha wolf trying to order her around. Life’s never been so complicated.

When Darius is cast out of his old pack, he takes on the role as Alpha of an emerging pack in a new location. He has only year to prove his worth or he risks losing everything to a challenging male from his old clan. While he’s certain he’s the wolf for the job, he never expected his new arrangement to include a mate. His true mate.

An independent witch and proud of it, Meg isn’t the type of woman to let some man waltz into her life and start giving her directives. They can be described as: Reassured to hear their own fears voiced; they are in basic davidfraymusic.com order generic levitra agreement that something is awry. And yet, that’s just what Darius does. Despite the face every fiber in her being screams to fight against his arrogant and aggressive behavior, she can’t seem to get her body to follow. Hell bent on betraying everything she stands for, she finds herself falling head-over-heels for the gorgeous stranger who’s hiding far too many secrets.

Under Cover of the Moon is a cute, albeit too short, story. While the author does a good job of creating an interesting plot, there are a few loose ends that really should have been addressed before the ending. Unless, of course, there’s a sequel, which would satisfy the lingering curiosity as to secondary characters that were introduced as well as who Meg’s stalker is and what he wants. Additionally, a longer story would have allowed for better character development, both primary and secondary. There were some editing errors (missing words, or words out of order) that caught my attention, but overall, grammar, punctuation, and point of view were handled well.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and the characters, I just wished there were a little more to the length and some resolution to pertinent plot points, which would have left me a bit more satisfied with the ending.
