This is my first foray into the work and worlds of Anya Bast. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I cracked the book, but I have to say it was intense. There was a whole world to understand and discover. I’m glad Ms. Bast took the time to ease me into Dai, Nico, and Twyla’s world. But with any short story, there were a lot of things I wanted to know more about. I wanted more details.
I liked the relationship between Nico and Dai and wanted more of their story. The love and devotion between them is overwhelming and beautiful. If you want a story that is a thrill-ride and sexy as all get out, then you need to read Twilight. I give it 4 cherries.
