I felt like I was right there on the Lazy Aces with Emily and Wyatt. Heck, when the book ended, I wasn’t ready to leave. (Good thing this is the beginning of a series.) The writing is tight and the action nicely paced.

As I said, I loved the characters and their progression through the story. There were times when I wanted to knock their heads together and times when I wasn’t impressed by their actions, but I was completely emotionally invested in the story. For me, that’s a big deal.
