The choice Marcus is faced with is not only reasonable for his time and station but one that really causes him to think and reevaluate. The answer is pretty easy once he’s able to see it but the decision is not instant so the tension is present and nicely handled.

This is the first story I’ve read of this author’s and can’t wait to read more. The atmosphere and touch of magic come alive within the pages and the story is filled with rich sensuality. This is a story that fills its pages and leaves you wanting more. I’m definitely going to see what else this author has written and easily recommend The Brass Box to romance fans that want a shorter story to sink into. You won’t be disappointed.
