Diego is someone else’s man, but that doesn’t stop Corey from wanting him.

Diego is in a long term and stable relationship with his lover Juan, so he doesn’t deal well with the insistent come-ons of Corey, an eighteen year old acquaintance. Though the kid’s hot, Diego’s taken.

Corey isn’t one to give up, which is good since Diego discovers something about Juan that upsets him so much that Corey seems to be the answer to his pain.

Can a guy on the rebound find love with a younger man?

Sometimes the one person you want is the one person you can’t have.

I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I picked up Someone Else’s Man. Author Kris Klein creates vivid characters I’d love to see in person. I liked the blurb for this book and I’m glad I selected it for review. Diego’s story is written in a flowing manner that I couldn’t help but keep reading. I had to know what would happen next. I felt like I was right there with Diego and Corey and yeah, I wanted to see them succeed.

There were a few little foibles that niggled at me while reading. This book isn’t terribly high on tension. With that said, it’s a great pick-me-up read. If you want a feel good story, then this one delivers. Also, it’s written in first person. Now first person isn’t bad. In this instance, it’s fine. My issue is I never really find out what’s going on in Corey’s head. Granted, Corey is a tad younger than Diego and might be harder to understand—mainly because he’s complex—but I wanted to know how he felt. Sure, he wore a lot of his emotions on his sleeve, but I wanted more.

Still, I wouldn’t pass this book by, if I were you. It’s got great characters and one heck of a twist I totally didn’t see coming. I’m glad I found this title and I’m sure you will be, too. Grab a copy of Someone Else’s Man. You won’t regret it.
