Working undercover, Para Marshall Marina Fareeky thinks her sham wedding day will end with her arresting the groom and most of the wedding guests. Just as she’s ready to walk down the aisle, a minion from the Para Marshall’s Office shows up and informs her there’ll be no raid… and no way to avoid her fate. Aleksi Nicholas, eldest son of the Nicholas vampyre clan, watches his reluctant bride shuffle toward him. He’s waited long enough, and now he intends to claim the heart of the woman who’d rather arrest him than bed him.

Undercover work is always difficult. But when an undercover cop gets left high and dry on the day of her wedding she finds things are a lot more interesting than she had bargained for.

The characters are nicely developed, you really feel for the heroine, and I have to admit I got a tiny bit jealous of her as well. The plot moves nicely, with well defined scenes and interesting dialogue. And the erotic scenes are mouth watering, the sex in this story is almost tame in comparison to some of the stuff in this series but it is still so vivid it leaves you looking for a cold shower.

An excellent addition to the SnowFire series.
