This Thanksgiving comes with all the fixings…and something extra hot.

Blackwater, Book 1

Sam Jennings promised his father he’d always take care of the woman who yanked him and his four brothers out of foster care. When his adoptive mom has a near-fatal heart attack, Sam knows it’s past time to live up to his word.

As he sets out to put the Blackwater Diner back on its feet, he runs into his first snag. Waitress Julie Rose’s sweet curves and long legs are driving Sam to distraction. Even his brothers aren’t immune to her kind heart. But Sam is determined to be the only man in her bed.

Julie doesn’t regret the years she lost caring for her grandmom, but now, between business classes and her job, she’s left with very little time and energy for dating. Then there’s her policy about never getting mixed up with the boss’s son. But Sam’s hard body and wicked ideas have Julie forgetting all about annoying things like rules, and she accepts his invitation to show her all she’s been missing.

Sam is more than willing to take things slow as he teaches her all about the pleasures of the flesh. Luckily for him, Julie is a darned good student…

This Thanksgiving dinner is one for the record books.

I know when I open a book by Anne Rainey, I’m in for a treat. Sam’s Promise doesn’t disappoint. The writing flows and had me from page one. I became invested in the characters and thought about Sam and Julie even after I closed the book. Yeah, they really stuck with me.

Sam and Julie are great characters. Both have big hearts, even when Sam doesn’t want it to show. I loved how he made it his mission to set things right. From Lipitor to Prevacid, there are lots cheap levitra of online companies in all over the world. The scientists of this pharmacy found sildenafil citrate much effective to cheapest viagra price cure the problem. There are several mechanisms for taking cocaine such as snorting, inhaling and even injecting it. viagra ordination http://www.slovak-republic.org/orava/ There is no doubt that the ED medicine is highly efficacious thus should be taken strictly as prescribed by a certified generic viagra cheapest health professional. I also loved how he made himself very available to Julie. No guessing he wanted her.

Julie wants to please. I loved how she keeps him at bay. She makes him work for what he wants. That’s the other thing. When he decides what he wants, he doesn’t take no for an answer. His determination is darned sexy, not to mention the descriptions Ms Rainey gives for Sam. I could visualize him easily and can describe him in one word — yum.

I also want to mention the brothers. This story isn’t just about two characters. Yes, Julie and Sam’s romance is at the heart of it, but there are great secondary characters in his brothers. I’m hoping there will be more stories with these guys. In a few pages, Ms Rainey describes them all well, making them distinct and memorable — especially the twins.

If you want a story with heat, heart and a holiday slant, then this is the book for you.
