Drew was a hardworking, straight-A student until the night his ex-boyfriend saw something in him he shouldn’t have. Drew’s secrets led him to a life of drugs and pain, and the road to recovery will be long.

Remi is the jokester of the pack, never taking anything or anyone too seriously─until he meets Drew. But Remi’s first days with his mate are spent cradling Drew through his brutal withdrawals.

To make things worse, tension runs high as the psychotic wolf, Jackson, still hunts for the mates.

Facing up to his true identity could push Drew back to drugs. Can Drew get clean and allow Remi’s love to save him from himself? And can fun-loving Remi stand up to his most serious challenge yet?

Once again Ms. Hagen has put together a touching story about human sadness, weakness, and struggles. In Remi’s Pup she writes of drug addiction and its effects on a young Drew. After reading the blurb I knew this was a story I had to read.

Remi discovers he has a mate when he smells his mate’s scent on another werewolf in his pack. His excitement dwindles when he finds out his mate is a drug addict. I admired Remi’s determination when it came to protecting his mate from himself. These big strong werewolves are big softies when it comes to their mates and Drew needs more help than most in dealing with his problems. To read how Remi submits to his much smaller mate to help him heal is very endearing.

Drew is grateful that Remi and the other pack members believe in him, but the daily craving of drugs makes living the on the straight and narrow difficult for Drew. He is definitely a people pleaser, but because of it he sometimes put himself in compromising positions. It was fun to read how Drew interacted with the other mates. This is a man you have hope for to beat his addiction and learn to love himself.

For all readers of the Brac Pack, Ms. Hagen does give updates on characters we have grown to love and introduces new ones into the fold. It’s nice to get updates on the characters from the previous books and to see how these characters all become ingrained into each other’s lives. This is an exciting series that gets better with every book and Remi’s Pup is a must add to this collection.
