Allie Tristan is frustrated. She has to watch as her older sisters have all the fun. The characters in Magical Sex are well crafted and each is unique. The three sisters, Hillary, Meg and Allie, each carry a different sort of magic, and this book is about the youngest sister, Allie, a succubus like their mother. I enjoyed watching as they tried so many ways to help Allie while protecting the men in town from her powers.

Allie is just adorable. She knows what she is, and she wants what her sister has: a healthy sex life. She knows that can’t happen until she learns control, but she has no one to teach her what to do. I liked watching the ways Allie came up with to escape her sisters’ scrutiny, and the tricks she came up with to try and ease her tensions. I love the concept of a virgin succubus, and it is well done here.

Tom Halloran is strong, handsome and successful, and very much the bachelor. I liked his honesty and his determination, and his self-confidence. When Allie explodes into his life, he is lost and doesn’t understand what makes her different, but he does know he wants a life with her. The things he has to do to be with her are fun to watch, and there is a lot of humor in this story.

There are a couple of surprising twists in this story of magic and passion, and one was a big one, about the person who could hold the secret to helping Allie and Tom be together for their happy ever after.
