It’s incredibly hard not to get sucked in to this love story from the first page and the pacing makes it an unstoppable read once started. Nick’s epiphany is a long time in coming and his journey towards redemption is bittersweet, but extremely hot. While Lauren musts rectify the decisions she made and battle logic versus heart. Wound recovery and trust needs to be rebuilt if they are to have a chance, yet their physical rhythm together is instantaneous and magic.

A sigh-worthy tale with plenty of witty dialogue, appealing characters, and a reunion to end all reunions. This story is a memorable read from start to finish and any contemporary romance reader who hasn’t given Lexxie Couper’s stories a try should most definitely do so.
