Recruiting for the Kitchen Witch Society has never been so sexy. Krista’s got all the eye candy (and magic skill) she could ever hope for in the hard body of amateur chef sensation Chase Hamilton. Now if only she can get him to show her a taste of his handiwork inside the bedroom…

This is a delightfully hot and sweet short story from Dawn Montgomery.

As a recruiter for the Kitchen Witch Society, Krista is looking forward to her latest assignment. Chase Hamilton is handsome, sexy and he can cook. What more does a girl want in a man? Chase is aware of the society, as his late grandmother was a member, and passed her recipes on to him. But he only has cooking magic at Christmas. But when Krista and Chase get together, a magical connection allows them to share magic, and this may change everything. Can Krista convince Chase to join up? Will their unusual sharing of magic last? Can these two have a happy ever after in and out of the kitchen?

I like the characters, and the idea of magic having limits. I enjoyed watching these two find common ground, and learning each other’s magic. An investigation into a series of brutal killings in White chapel up to 1891 was unable to connect all the killings conclusively to the murders of 1888, but the legend of Jack the Ripper is the best known pseudonym given to an unidentified serial killer active in the largely impoverished districts in and around Whitechapel, cialis 100mg London, in 1888.

Krista is determined to convince Chase to join the Kitchen Witch Society, even after he reveals that his magic is seasonal. She is upbeat and optimistic, and attracted to Chase immediately. I liked that she didn’t play coy with him, but was up front and honest in her desires.

Chase is a hottie, and he can make heavenly cookies at Christmas. He is honest, and reveals his magical secret to Krista right off. He is not afraid to move on his attraction, and that makes this one very hot story.

I like the fact that these two were open and honest with each other, and the heat level here rises quickly. There are a couple of wonderful surprise twists here that make this a great, if short, holiday hot read. I would love to read more about these two in the future.
