I thought the plot was fun for this book, and overall its a sexy story. But there were some things that were just a little off. One was character development for Beckett, yes he’s a good guy and a hunky TV host. But other than learning he likes some kink with his sex, we don’t know anything else about him. And his friend/co-worker Patrick didn’t seem to fit with his constant nagging.

However, Riley was a refreshing take on a strong woman. Despite her misgivings about her previous sex life, she went full court press and was honest and open with Beckett. My favorite part of the book is the text messages, which I won’t ruin. The first one had me almost spitting my drink out. And Amber Skyze can really write some sex scenes, don’t worry there are plenty here!

I noted that this has BDSM, but I will say it’s very light but there are a couple scenes that put it over in that grey area so I thought it would be a safe bet to mention that. Overall its a sexy read, and one to read with a tall glass of ice water!
