How To Ruin Christmas For A Vampire is a classic example of a love/hate relationship. I just loved reading this story. Jarreth is my perfect vampire except for his allergies to wool, and Diana Kringle is what I consider to be the perfect holiday character taken to Clark Griswald of Christmas Vacation level.
How to Ruin Christmas For A Vampire has several stories contained in its small size. I learned about Diana’s childhood and her reasons behind her holiday celebrations. There is the story of Jarrath’s loyality and his exile by the vampire council along with his relationship with Dominique. Then we have the main story of Jarreth and Diana.
I enjoyed how Jarreth and Diana fought over her Christmas decorations. I loved the descriptions of how Jarreth’s house is lit up at night from the lights in the decorations at Diana’s home across the street.
