Or better yet, just do what Lenna Davenport did, and give in to temptation, sparking a whole tangle of passion, forbidden romance, mounting secrets and deceit. Who thought attending her father’s office Christmas party would change Lenna Davenport’s life?

Lenna feels like Cinderella at her father’s office Christmas party. But her father and his friends are using the occasion to mock their new young boss. Braxton Farris has taken over his father’s company due to a family health crisis that his family wants no one to know about. Braxton is having a horrible night until he meets Lenna. I enjoyed How to Resist Prince Charming, it reminded me of a Harlequin Presents or a Silhouette Desire. The tension was real and the love scenes were good. I liked both Lenna and Braxton and bonded with both of them from the very beginning of the book. As much as I liked Braxton, I didn’t like that he became so altruistic at the end. In case, viagra for sale a man is seen withdrawing from that care about them, which puts a serious strain on their relationships. Emergency dental treatment is the term used to describe the discomfort in one’s belly mostly caused after food consumption. He seemed too good to be true. With Lenna’s father making such huge mistakes, some flaws in Braxton would have humanized him. On that note, I found it hard to watch Lenna’s father be so selfish and immature. I’m sure there are people like that, but I find it hard to believe he would have raised someone as kind as Lenna. I enjoyed the sex scenes and I’d say they are on the same level as a Harlequin Presents, but more frequent.

If you’re wondering why the review is only a 3.5 it’s because the book just seemed to lack a certain intensity. The heart of this book is its story. To me it was about the emotional trade off of being separated and reunited. For the emotions to be real, I had to believe that Lenna couldn’t perceive how immature her father was. Then I could believe the lies that caused them to break up. I just could not believe that she did not doubt her father. Despite this, I enjoyed the book and was charmed watching Lenna and Braxton fall in love.

The sexual tension between Braxton and Lenna was exciting to read. Their relationship was beautiful. If you’re looking for a dreamy romantic read, try How to Resist Prince Charming. Like Lenna, I couldn’t resist Braxton either.
