I loved going back into the world of Ra’s Chosen. Each and every one of the warriors is special in their own way. Yet it seems many readers enjoy Taken the most and I am among them. He is a strong man who loves everyone with all his heart. We see the depth of his love for his mate in this story as he allows her to make the important decisions in their relationship no matter what the costs are to him. Falon is a strong woman who has been fighting the undead for her own reasons and when she meets Taken she finds that she is not alone in her battle. She also finds that she has strong feelings for him and is not sure what to do about them. Watching Taken pursue Fallon was a great read. The two make a wonderful couple, working off of each other’s strengths.

Marisa Chenery has woven a wondrous world full of romance and magic in this series and this book is a great wrap up to this series. I really enjoyed the emotion and depth of the characters in this book, making it one that should not be missed.
