With a brand new kind of paranormal hero, this story was a good read indeed. The pace is fast enough to keep you turning pages, the sex–um–satisfying, and the editor did his/her job well enough for the reader not to be yanked from the suspension of disbelief by an irritating typo or spelling mistake. If you’re tired of vampires, were-whatevers and so on, this story is for you. Well worth the cover price.
