The story is told in the first person from Jocelyn’s point of view which I thought worked perfectly for this story.

We’re immediately immersed in her world of the single mom who wants to try something new but at the same time experiences guilt over what’s she’s finally resorted to. The opening scenes are very descriptive so you feel her nervousness as she waits for the escort to arrive.

His name is Sabian and at first he seems all business but as the story progresses the author does a good job delving deeper into his character and revealing why he’s chosen to be an escort. That isn’t always easy when the stories told from another person’s point of view but the author does a great job with this.

When these two get together for a dinner date we learn they have more in common than first thought. They soon move from client and escort to a real couple and that’s when your uneasiness begins. They belong together but how can this relationship possibly work? It had me turning the pages just to find out how the author was going to deal with this.

The dialogue is natural sounding. Secondary characters minimal but well developed, and pacing is fast. As you can imagine there are plenty of hot sex scenes. The thing I enjoyed most was the way the author handled the ending. It was believable and a definite HEA. If you’re looking for an erotic romance that’s a little different, I’d say check this title out.
